Is Melbourne better than Sydney?

I have lived in Melbourne 2.5 years and moved to Sydney 4 months back. What I have seen so far in these two cities, I can share that experience-Cost of Living: Overall cost of living in Australia is quite high. Rent or real estate is costlier in Sydney compared to Melbourne. Transport is also bit more expensive in Sydney. Rest supermarket , Energy or Gas bills are not of much difference in these two cities.Weather: Sydney is more on warm side rather Melbourne. If someone likes hot weather Sydney is preferable , and for cold weather Melbourne. Also for Melbourne, ‘Four season in a day’ is really a truth.Job Market: I am not sure about all the profession, but atleast in IT, Sydney has a bit better job market than Melbourne.Entertainment: Melbourne's night life is surely better than Sydney. Also personally I have found, Melbourne has richer options in terms of multi- cuisine food, Bar or pubs. Even Melbourne has a very famous coffee culture. Also Melbourne is known as ‘Sports capital’. Personally, I have attented a lot of sports event while I was in Melbourne— Cricket, Soccer, Footy, Tennis, UFC even WEE. You have Formula 1 in Melbourne, and Moto GP near to the city (Phillip Island). Sydney is more into NRL, where Melbourne is into AFL.Nature: Both cities are beautiful with a lot of attractions. Sydney CBD IS quite bigger compared to Melbourne, and have more attractions- Opera house, Harbour bridge, Circular quay, Darling Harbour etc. Sydney is also famous for beautiful beaches, Bondi, Manly to name a few. Both the cities have a lot of beautiful nature places in few hours drive .People: Both the cities are very multi national, Sydney being more crowded than Melbourne. You will find people from almost every part of the world. There is a saying - People in Melbourne are more friendly compared to Sydney. But I'll say it really varies from individual to individual. So it really depends on what a person wants to live in a city, and the experience will also vary with individual's perspective. Both cities are great in their own way, it will be really difficult to say one city is better than other. From my personal perspective, I prefer Melbourne a bit more than Sydney.

Do wives and husbands cheat on each other at bachelor parties?

I have attended two bachelorettes and they put me off the whole concept . Enough for me to decide to do away with the same at my own wedding.Truth be told I saw plenty of women being quite obscene with the strippers. However it's hard to say how many were married and how many single. Still, there was plenty of dry humping and cheap thrills involved. The entire thing felt tasteless and desperate to put it mildly. I wasn't the only one there feeling uncomfortable though. There were enough women who shared my opinion and enough on the other side . Thing is for the first bachelorette I attended I was single, and it was still disgusting! The second one I was married but because of my relationship with the bride I just couldn't get out of it.I am the last person to be a prude , but getting down and dirty while making a spectacle of yourself, with a total stranger who's actually getting paid for this bullshit is just not my idea of fun.And this was in New Delhi, India! In the West I believe it's much worse, things can really get out of control. I am in Sydney now but I have no intentions of putting this theory to test!2 bachelorettes are enough for this lifetime..!THANKYOU NOTEI am honestly humbled by all the upvotes. My first answer that has garnered all these views and appreciation. Grateful to all of you for reading, even those that didn't give it an upvote ;)! Truth be told this was not the answer I was expecting to find fame ;) but everyday now, I become more and more aware of how wonderfully unpredictable Quora can be! :)Many many thanks :)

Can we attach a car in Uber without a driver?

Yes you can attach a car in uber without a driver , but you can get benefits out of it when you will attach driver also.Basically you need complete documents of the car and driver to complete the formality which includes:a) VehicleRegistration certificateInsuranceTaxi permitFitness certificate.b) DriverCommercial driving licensePolice verification.Although some documents list may vary from city to city as per the regulations of that state. So if you have all the documents complete , just take the original documents ( no photocopy required ) to the office and within 30–45 mins your car will get attached in uber.So basically you can attach the car by submitting the vehicle documents and can attach driver when you have hired one by submitting his / her documents , to start getting monetary benefits out of your car .Wishing you UBER experience in uber !

What is the life of an average long haul truck? What truck has clocked the highest mileage?

The average diesel truck engine generally comes with a 2 year/250K mile warranty, which can be extended to 4-5 years and 500K miles. A typical mileage before overhaul is around 700K - 1000K miles.Major fleets often purchase new trucks and replace them after 3 years because they're trying to attract and retain drivers by having newer trucks and they're trying to keep their maintenance costs down and reliability up. However, these trucks aren't sent to the scrapyard - they're often purchased by other shippers and kept in service. Estimates are that the average truck is used for about 5 or 6 years (600K miles) in long haul service.
