How much does a dumpster generally cost?

I don't understand why the company cannot give you a firm quote for the dumpster. I get those numbers in a few minutes with them every time.

Here, a large roll-off construction dumpster is about 325.00 for the first one and less for each exchange. I get to keep it for 30 days. And we have Waste Management here too.

Your prices are going to vary based on where you live, whether you need a permit from the city and what size dumpster you need. Be aware that some municipalities restrict where you can put the thing and how long you can keep it there.

How much to rent a dumpster?

How much does junk removal usually cost?

Junk is less dangerous than other types of waste, but it can be bulky. Generally speaking, junk waste removal usually involves the removal of large items (e.g., appliances, tires, pianos, etc.) that will require two or more people to haul away to a landfill or other specified location.Junk Removal prices will reflect level of difficulty, costing about:$100 for major appliances$80 for large furniture pieces$130 for an outdoor hot tubUsually, making a trip to the dump to get rid of yard waste, appliances and smaller garbage loads is no big deal. But sometimes you need help with the bigger loads. On average, homeowners pay between $135 and $358 for junk removal, though costs depend largely on contents, volume and service policies.Trash removal is usually offered as part of your city utilities. But there are also independent companies who sometimes offer the service at a lower price. Trash removal generally costs:Monthly: $10 to $40Annually: $140 to $250These costs do not include a one-time setup fee, which may fall anywhere between $30 and $50. (Note: This cost guide and its chart DO NOT include the costs for trash removal. Please contact your local city provider or private companies for true fee schedules.)

Is it Illegal to throw trash in a store’s dumpster?

I’ve done it. A long time ago, I once dumped construction debris into a dumpster at a condominium complex. I owned a rental condo there, and figured I could get away with it. But, I was busted by the an association president. I reloaded my trash and went to the city dump.Conversely, I have had many dumpsters at construction sites that were filled overnight by midnight dumpers or driveby dumpers. They see an unattended dumpster and unload their truck or trailer while nobody’s looking. These parasites often throw leftover paint, chemicals and other hazardous materials into the dumpster they don’t own, because there is special handling and costs at the local dump.Technically, it’s probably illegal to use someone’s dumpster without their permission. I’ve never seen or heard of it being enforced. All you’d have to say is someone in the store gave you permission. Here’s the rub: there are video cameras everywhere. And people. Why would you go to the trouble of throwing trash in a store’s dumpster? Divide up the trash, put it in bags, remove your name and address from everything, and drop it off at the curb. Of everyone you can think of who has hurt you or you don’t like.

Dumpster rental prices sheet?

in what city/state do you live? prices are different around the world.

some dumpster companies have hidden costs.

Beware of these costs:
* You might see listed that a 30 yard dumpster costs $499, but DON'T be fooled; it only comes with 1 TON! (The average 30 yard dumpster weighs in at 4 or 5 tons) so with this company you will get billed the extra weight.
* You think you are getting one price then you go to check out and they tack on 7% fuel surcharge.
* You are now checking out and you read the terms of service and realize you will be billed an additional 3 ton weight deposit because they know that 1 ton in a 30 yard dumpster is not enough.

How much does it cost per sq. foot to build a house in the Florida pan handle?

I want to agree with some points home pro two suggests. FL is a hard market, and WAY flooded; BUT who might wanna live in Arkansas??? No offense to those who do.

First of all I wouldn't build in the panhandle, and I've lived in FL since 72.

I guess what I'm wondering, since you state ALL the issues YOU personally will be involved in,,,,where have you researched before you came to Q&A?

You must realize the market in general, is in the dumpster, for now, but NEW is as slow. Oddly enough COSTS to buy or build still increase exponentially. Obvious too are differences in the balance between cost to build and Price to sell, but I had a home built in Orlando in 92,,, 2000 sq. ft. single story, hip roof,,,which is of little consequence, for 128 K. Today that house is market valued at 385 K. I told my ex, to sell and bail out, and bank 200 K. Then today I saw a NEW house up for sale, that I know came in at $100 per sq. ft. and was offered at 290 k, for 1200 sq. ft. I live in So. Central FL, and have a dozen homes within 100 ft. viewing area, sold by investors for 350 K, while across the road, similar start at 170 K...whew.

Materials costs, BTW, have kept pace. If you can get your parents into a 2400 sq. ft house for less than $100 per square,,,,go for it, and tell them to FLIP it in Fall of 08. Then suggest places they can retire to, and still have perhaps 150 K to play with.

What are the average utilities costs for a 2 bedroom apartment in Kansas City, MO?

Hi there!

Welcome to the US! :p

It depends on your apartment building. Many don't include any utilites, so you'll have to pay water, gas, and eletric, but some will include a few or all. Most of the time, sewage and trash pickup are free.

Check with your new landlord and see if they can give you a few rough estimates. If you see tenants hanging around the building you're going to be living in when you come to see the place, stop them and ask what they normally pay.

Can a city charge the homeowner to haul away trash illegally dumped on his/her property?

Actually that happened to me. Someone put a bunch of loose trash on the curb in front of my house. The city left a notice to bag it up and remove it until trash pickup day and I had 24 hours to comply. I found out about this when I got home from work. I made arrangements for someone to come over the next morning to clean it up, I'm 62 and there was a lot of trash. I also called the city and told them it would be done the next day. The DPW never got the message and The city cleaned the trash up first thing in the morning before my service could get it done and put a charge of 250 dollars on my tax bill. I was not a happy camper but there was nothing I could do about it. So the answer is you are responsible for any litter on your property no matter who puts it there. Your only recourse is to sue the dumper for the cleanup costs.
