How Much Does It Cost To Get Train Track Braces Top And Bottom

What is the average cost of braces in India?

The cost depends on whether you are getting it done from a private hospital or government hospital.I got it done from Government hospital. The braces were bought over courier from Delhi. It cost me 4000₹. There was no fee charged by the hospital. My treatment went for almost two & half years. It includes monthly visits to the hospital. Neglecting the travel fare ( hospital was at a distance of around 100 km from my place), there was no other charge. If you opt for a private hospital they will charge you for every visit, which you have no option to avoid. On an average they charge around 500₹, but it may vary drastically. You can do the math and find that for a two and half years' treatment these monthly visits will cost you around 15000₹.I hope it helps with your answer. Thanks!

How long does it take to take out braces?

Is your question related to the time you need to wear braces before the treatment is completed? Treatment time involves extreme case by case variations… 6 months to 3 years could be the range….so you need to ask your orthodontist about your case specifically. If your question is more specifically “How long does it take to remove the appliances from the teeth?”… that appointment ranges from an hour to an hour and a half total. The braces will come off easily and quickly from the teeth. In a matter of minutes, they simply snap off of the teeth. There is adhesive that remains on the enamel, however, which needs to be removed. A variety of techniques are used for the adhesive removal. Some providers use a hand instrument to scrape the material from the surface of the tooth. Others use a rotary handpiece to “polish” the material off of the tooth. The adhesive removal can take 20 to 40 minutes. There is usually some form of post treatment record taking in the form of photos, x-rays, and or impressions of the teeth. Also there may be (should be in my opinion) retainers given the same day. The retainers will require some adjustment, for proper fit and comfort, that takes a few minutes as well.Aron Dellinger DDS, MSD, Diplomate American Board of OrthodontistsAmerican Association of Orthodontists

How long does it take to get braces put on?

Horrible. I was 12 at the time and I had top brackets on my top teeth except for two on each side for molars as well as bottom ones that went across all back teeth. At the time I first put them on I was not using bands yet. When they were first secured onto my teeth I didn’t really feel any pain at first, but there was a lot of tightness. When I went home, after about an hour or so, the excruciating pain started. It felt like someone had grabbed my teeth and was trying to squeeze them as hard as they could together. It made my head fuzzy by how much it hurt. I tried to eat soft, cold foods since the wire was heat reactive. Just opening my mouth felt like the wires were going to pull out my teeth any minute. After about two weeks there was a different pain: the dreaded exposed wire. I had my braces taken off in 8th grade but I still had dents in my cheeks and scars from brackets and wires taking off bits of my flesh or stabbing and scratching holes into the back of jaw. Wax barely works unless you don’t produce saliva. Pain meds were my best friend. I swear to god I was becoming a pill junkie. And every 4 weeks or so you start the pain over again with tightening wires, new bands, new brackets, or really fun: new wires.I wish I had invisaligns. :/

My bottom jaw sticks out to much?

When I was about 13 I had to wear a brace (one of those plates that sit on the top of your mouth) then after that I had to have train tracks, I got them taken off when I was 16 (coz I was getting married and didn't want a metal smile in my photos) but before that the otherdontics (however its spelt) were talking about breaking my jaw and resetting it. I did ask if I could temperarily have them off for the wedding and have them out back on after but they said no. Anyway between my top and bottom teeth there was a slight gap and my bottom jaw was only slightly in front, now I am 25 and there is a massive gap and if I put my teeth together virtually the whole of my front bottom teeth cover my top teeth, I am now finding that my jaw has moved to the left (well seems it) and every time I eat all my teeth on the left grind together which really hurts and is making me not want to eat but nothing on the right side, I am now finding that all the teeth on the left hurt more now even when I don't eat. It's just seems to be the older I get the more my bottom jaw sticks out and I really don't think I can take much more and worried its just gonna get worse and worse.
I did speak to my dentist ( not about the teeth grinding though) and he says I'm too old now and if I want it done I have to go private which is very expensive and I can't afford that as only on benefits (before u ask carers allowance not on job seekers). Has anyone got an suggestions on what I can do? Please help me :-(

How do I take braces off at home?

I can actually answer this because I used to do it in geometry class. Take a regular wood pencil, remove the metal eraser holder thing on the end. Rest the wood end on your bottom teeth. Wedge the top of the wood under one of the metal squares and bite down slowly… no need to snap your mouth shut or anything. The square will pop off. Be aware, though, that if you do this the glue holding the metal square to your tooth can sometimes remove some of your tooth enamel. Over time this can form a little divot in the tooth that may or may not be visible. This divot (hole) will also provide a nice entryway for bacteria to get under the enamel and cause tooth decay. Two of my teeth have bonding over their front surfaces to seal the holes left by my DIY brace removal technique. Also be aware that braces are really expensive so when you come home and your parents see you without your braces they may not be very happy with you. Your orthodontist on the other hand won’t be too fussed as he’ll charge to re-attach them. My orthodontist used to greet me with a cheerful “Again, Richard?” after each of these episodes. And sooner or later your parents will give up on your braces and you’ll get to spend the rest of your life with crooked teeth which will of course be your own fault. (Forgive my ranting if you have a better reason for doing this than I did which was “I don’t like the way they feel”). Lastly, as others have pointed out, getting the metal bands around your molars off is a whole different beast. I never figured out a way to remove these but probably the procedure starts with a trip to the tool section of your nearest Home Depot.

Getting braces off early?

Ok so let me say this it has been about 4 years now that I have had my braces, I am in 8th grade and I had them taken off in 5th grade and 1 month later putting them back on again, this time having a bottom set too cuz my orthodontist f***** my teeth the first time. I'm tired of them I'm supposed to get them off this December but he said a few months ago would get them off this summer. How do I convince my parents to let me get them off early I don't want to go into high school with them on?!

Braces on crooked teeth?

Hey don't worry I am 15 and have braces! I will tell you what I think they will probably do:

Don't worry about your vamp tooth, loads of people have that and it is usually called a "shark tooth" when stuck high up in the gums. In fact, you are lucky in a way because my vamp teeth (canines) didnt come through at all and I nearly had to have braces inside my gums :/ aha
Anyway they will give you fixed (train track) braces and attach it to the shark tooth, and as they tighten the wire it will pull the tooth down :)
Molars are really easy to straighten so don't worry, they give you train tracks and put metal bands around the molar (not as bad as it sounds) and move it into place by tightening the wire.

I'm not really sure what you mean by the 2nd, but if you mean the adult tooth they just pull out the baby tooth (with anaesthetic so you can't feel it) and then give you braces to straighten the adult tooth, although once the baby tooth is gone it might straighten by itself :)

If you meant something else don't worry, braces can solve ANYTHING. Literally. Some people need removable braces before hand, but it sounds like you would only need train tracks (luckyyy) ;)

So you would have train tracks on your top and bottom teeth, and maybe elastics for a few weeks if you have an over/underbite :) they will probably put train tracks on all your teeth, but since one side is already straight they will probably not change that side much and just tighten the wire on the other side :P
PLZ DON'T HURT YOURSELF, trust me what you have sounds pretty simple to correct!! However, I'm not an orthodontist, so why don't you go to a dentist so they can refer you and you can see what is needed, costs etc
I'm sure it will be fine! Oh ,and if you live in the uk, you might be able to get them on the NHS. Idk about the USA though, sorry! Good luck!
