Once you have begun using your PO Box, you may request a refund at the Post Office where your box is located. Fees are refunded as follows:3-Month Payments (automatic renewal required): No refunds6-Month Payments: Within the first 3 months – ½ the fee paid After 3 months – no refunds12-Month Payments: Within the first 3 months – ¾ the fee paid Within the first 6 months – ½ the fee paid Within the first 9 months – ¼ the fee paid After 9 months – no refunds.If you qualify for a refund, you may apply for it on PS Form 3533, Application for Refund of Fees, Products, and Withdrawal of Customer Accounts, which can be obtained from a retail associate at the Post Office.
Does USPS charge PO BOX fees?
I ordered a 6 month PO BOX from my local USPS branch and paid it in full. When my box timeline is over are there fees for not paying for another couple months? Or does the branch simply close the box and offer it to someone else no questions asked?

Find out if it is cheaper to get a PO box or see if you can purchase your own mailbox and put it on the property. Hopefully you haven't moved in yet because it sounds like you have a cheapskate landlord good luck getting anything fixed.
Is Stamp Needed for Letter sent to PoBox if you Take it directly to the Post Office where the Box is Located?
Yes - as you hand the mail to a postal worker or put it in the mail slot - it still needs to be sorted and distributed to the correct box - therefore a fee (stamp) Remember - Nothing is free
Credit card payment late fee but payment paid on due date!?
My husband did a 0%balance transfer in oct 2012, check or statements as we have been charged late payments despite the payment being made to them on the day 14th nov and 15th dec both on the day and both made online. We have been charged a late fee as the payment was not received until 15th nov (1day Late) and 18th dec (3 days late). The promotion has now ceased and we are being charged interest. My own credit cards we pay on the day and gets there that day. What can I do will they refund it? can i argue that the payment was authorised so it wouldn't bounce when they receive it? I am in charge of making payment and hubby is going to ballistic!! I spoke to a customer device rep earlier but obviously they can't do much as I don't have access to account on phone. Any arguments I can make to mbna will help greatly.
Can a landlord charge a late fee if the rent check was lost in the mail?
Our landlord is claiming he never received our check for this month's rent. My roommate swears she mailed it on the first (as agreed in our lease) and that she addressed it to the correct location. Unfortunately, she did not send it certified mail, just regular USPS mail. Since the two of us have lived here, we have never been late paying our rent, and we believe the previous tenants were always on time too. We are planning to personally deliver the new rent check tonight, and our landlord is trying to charge us a $300 late fee, which is stated in our lease. Our rent is about $1800 a month. Do we have any recourse from paying the late fee other than nicely asking the landlord to waive it given the circumstances? We don't want to have a bad relationship with him or have this negatively impact our credit, but who's to say he didn't receive it and misplace it or that he isn't trying to get extra money out of us or set us up so that we will look like bad tenants should he try to increase our rent or evict us?
Will the nj dmv let me use a po box as my address?
I just moved to NJ and will probably move 3 more times in the next 6 months, all within NJ. Will the DMV let me put a po box as my address so I don't have to keep getting a new license?
