Is there a way to illegally cross the border for a U.S citizen to enter Toronto, Canada?

Disclaimer: I don’t advocate doing any of the following. You could try swimming the 50km of Lake Ontario that separates Toronto from upstate NY. The Coast Guard would see you coming hours before you step on shore. But you would probably get a free trip home.A Canadian did something similar in Windsor a few years ago. He drank 8 beers, and swam across the river to Detroit because his friends said he couldn’t. He got a night in the slammer and a free trip home.Canadian Man Sorry for Chugging Eight Beers and Swimming to Detroit

How much would it cost to rent a Boeing 747 for a round trip to Asia?

This will give you a starting ball park cost for leasing an aircraft for a single event like this. Minimum cost. The minimum cost is $2 per available seat nautical mile. If the aircraft comes with 450 seats and it is 10,000 nm round trip, then the minimum cost would be on the order of $9 Million. Since you will use the same aircraft in both directions, then add $1,000 per flight crew member per day for them to wait around for the return trip.Enjoy the experience with your 400+ friends.UPDATE: The estimates, above, are as if the charter company was treating the 747 like a “large business jet”.On the other hand, use a rule of thumb of roughly $25,000 per Flight Hour, be liberal in calculating flight hours (use 450 knots and add an hour, because taxiing counts) and that will be your minimum cost. All the best.

If there is a warrant out for your arrest, can you fly domestically?

You probably don't have to worry about a warrant if you're flying domestically (in the US).First, very few people at the airport would have access to information about warrants. Even if someone has access (like airport police), they probably aren't running every passenger's name for warrants.Second, warrants often have limits on where they can be served. For instance, I live and work about two hours south of Chicago, Illinois. It is not unusual at all to find a Chicago-area person in town who has a warrant out of the Chicago area, but the warrant is only valid for the counties around Chicago. I can't arrest someone on a warrant like that.Warrants for major crimes may have nationwide extradition, so you might have to worry if your warrant carries nationwide extradition and if your name is checked by police at the airport. I have only found a couple people who fit that category during my career. Finally, if you're just plain unlucky, it might be a problem for you. I work with a guy we call "the warrant whisperer." This guy makes at least two or three warrant arrests per week. If he has looked at your photo on a warrant, he'll remember you when he sees you at the airport. And he goes to the local bus terminal and airport a couple times each week....

Cash: How much USD can I legally carry on my person in the United States at any given time?

You “can” legally carry every dollar you own. The illegalities come up when you mess with reporting requirements.FIRST, if you enter the U.S. or depart from the U.S. with more than $10,000 in cash (or its equivalent - in Euros or gold bars or some other readily spendable currency) you must report the fact of what you are importing or exporting to Customs and Border Protection (on a convenient form an officer will give you; at land crossings you will undoubtedly see a sign warning you of the reporting requirements). Willfully failing to do so is a felony. As an aside to this, many other countries have similar reporting requirements, so when you land or leave, you may have to declare your cash when you arrive or depart that country. I’m told jail in some of those countries is a bitch.SECOND: if you deposit or withdraw more that $10,000 in cash (or its equivalent) from any financial institution (bank, credit union, brokerage house, casino, etc.), the institution is required to report the transaction to the Treasury. If you try to “structure” your transactions so the bank won’t know about your transaction and thus won’t report it, that, too, is a felony. Example: you want to deposit $18,000 in cash so you deposit $9,000 at branch A and $9,000 at branch B an hour or a day later. If willfully done to evade the reporting requirements, you are in felony territory. And my aside comment above applies here, too (as to deposits or withdrawals).Conversely, if you take a steamer trunk of cash to France and report the amount of cash in the trunk, or you take the same steamer trunk to the bank and deposit it all at one branch, you may raise a hell of a lot of eyebrows (including some in law enforcement), but you will not have violated any laws.THIRD, merchants have the same reporting requirements, so if you go pay for that Jag with your steamer trunk, the car dealer is obligated to report that transaction. The same rules relating to structuring apply to these transactions, too. Indeed, I have seen at least one instance where a law firm allowed a client to stucture the payment of legal fees. Also a no no.

Where is a cheap beach location for a destination wedding?

We are trying to plan a destination wedding on a very strict budget (hoping for 4000). We have our hearts set on saying our vows with our toes in the sand. Neither of us have a passport so we are limited to the U.S. and it's territories. We are in the Detroit area. Right now it is a last minute trip planned for Easter weekend. 4 maybe 5 nights. Any suggestions??

Will I make my connection in Miami? first time flying, please help!?

Me and my Fiance are flying to the Bahamas early monday morning. We are leaving the DTW airport (In detroit) at 6:45am via American Airlines. We arrive in Miami (airport code MIA) at 9:30am. Our connecting flight from Miami to Freeport is at 10:35am, American Airlines as well, but our ticket details say that it is operated by American Eagle. Is that a different air carrier? This is my first time flying ever and I'm worried about not making the connection since there is little more than a hour and it's in Miami (which I assume to be a busy airport, especially in the late morning). Do you think I should be okay, or is that cutting it close?

I'm going to LA over spring break and I was wondering what sort of things that I could do? Please read details?

Hey!
I am a 14 year old girl from San Diego that is going to LA for about 3 days over spring break. I have been to LA various times before, but to Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, and other amusement parks.

I have also been to Venice Beach and seen many plays there.

This time I want to do fun things that would interest a teenager (14). I am going with my parents too, so it would have to be sorta fun for them.

I do not like museums, but I love shopping. I do not have that much money to shop though....only about 100$. What are some cheap but ah-dorable stores? Are there any awesome thrift stores?

What other things I can do when I am up there?

I have been to most tourist places, so it would be great if tehre were some local places that I could go and have a blast.

If you answer my question with good info then I will answer one of your questions with legit info, and i will continue to answer your questions.

Thank you so much!!
Kat P.

P.S the hotel that I will be staying at is in central La, around Hollywood!
