How many times have you visited the Wizarding World of Harry Potter? Which was your favorite visit and why?
Not once.I have been to the Warner Brothers Studio Tour in London.(Sorry - mild panic there. I was trying to find the pictures I took and I thought I had deleted them. So - you can imagine my panic. But no - I found them again)My beloved took me there for my 40th birthday, except it was about 18 months after it (I had the unfortunate bad timing to be having open heart surgery about 2 weeks after my 40th birthday, so - as you can imagine - it was not a good time to be walking around the world of Harry Potter. Or, to be more accurate - it was not a good time to be walking ANYWHERE for more than five minutes at a time)We spent…… six hours I think walking around the entire place. I know that we surprised the crap out of the guy in the gift shop, because he looked the time on our tickers when we came in and said “wow - you’ve been in here a long time”It is truly amazing. I cannot overstate how good it is, and how much there is to see.It is a little pricey, and if you have kids, they are probably going to want souveniers and a broom ride. But all of this things are optional extras, so it’s up to you. However I cannot recommend this enough. It was nearly five years ago and it is still one of the best experiences of my life. It is definitely worth it, and we are definitely planning another trip at some point.Disclaimer : I do not work for Warner Brothers, or the studio tour, or any related company. I am just a HUGE fan of their products. I was not paid for this answer :)Note : I know (some) people say if you have only seen the films and haven’t read the books you can’t be “a true Harry Potter fan”. Well - this is one case where you REALLY don’t need to have read the books. This is an incredibly visual experience, and it is ALL about the films. Sure - if you’ve read the books, good for you. But these are all props, sets, costumes, designs, art work and so on from the films. So if you have only read the books, you are going to be bored out of your minds.Note : also apologies for some of the pictures - I am really not good at taking pictures :)
