How Much Is This Bill Walton Basketball Card Worth

How much is this bill walton basketball card worth?

Hello. I dont know much about basketball or card collecting. I would like to know how much my card is worth if anything. It is a Harry Glickman's All time team card that used to come in Franz bread loafs. The card says copyright 1994 NBA properties and is still wrapped in original packaging. Any info would be much appreciated. Thank you.

What was the most revolutionary change to basketball?

There are several potential good answers out there:Russell and Wilt being essentially the first to play above the rim.The introduction of the shot clock.Elimination of the illegal defense rule.Elimination of hand checking.Introduction of the clear path violation. The defensive three-second rule. But the above are all evolutionary. They change how the game is played, but not the nature of the game itself. By far the most revolutionary change was the introduction of the three-point shot.

What would be the best defensive starting 5 in NBA history?

Most replies here are based on 'who is the best defensive player based on position', and most are perfectly on the money, but I'd suggest taking team chemistry and player cooperation into consideration as well. For example the trio of Isiah Thomas, Joe Dumars and Vinnie Johnson (with the latter being kind of a 'sixth man' for them) would probably be the best defensive backcourt ever - think of the way they were all interchangeable (Dumars moving to PG, Isiah defending screens, etc.. Add to it the general toughness (both physical and mental) and, of course, high individual defensive skill (Jordan said that Dumars was the hardest person for him to get by).Honorable mention in the backourt category: Nate McMillan and Gary Payton (they were a nightmare for opposing guards, (trapping, etc.)).Honorable mention as single player: Muggsy Bogues, Mookie BlaylockAs for the front court:  I'd probably go with a trio from more recent times - Ben Wallace, Rasheed Wallace, Tayshaun Prince did a fantastic job in their 2004 championship run clamping down an "all-star" LAL team packed with hall-of-famers (Malone, GP, Kobe, Shaq, etc.). A close second for me would be a combination of David Robinson, Tim Duncan and Sean Eliott. A huge part of their success was their defensive system developed by Pop - they just worn out anyone risking to bring the ball in the lane.Honorable mention as a single player: Ron Artest, Alonzo Mourning

What would be the most difficult 5 NBA players playing together to defeat (All-time)? [5 players to play against any opposing 5 players]

Magic Johnson as point guard because he is one the best passing point guards ever, he could score and he was like 6 foot 9 so huge for a point guard. He was good defensively and had the size to play help D against any position.Micheal Jordan because he is the most talented SG of all time and a true legend on both sides of the ball.LeBron James because he is a physical monster and athletic freak at his position. He has size, strength and speed. He can step it up in the clutch, he is a good shooter and can take it to the rack. He’s very consistent and one of the greatest of all time. Also the goat of his position.Kareem Abdul jabaar. Although he is not naturally a power forward, he is the greatest scorer of all time. He has freakish height and can has an almost unblockable shot. He has the most points of all time. I put him at power forward because this position and the Center are pretty interchangeable in that a center can be a very successful PF if there is an awesome Center already present.Wilt Chamberlain will be my center because no one can guard him. This man dropped 100 points in a game. He is a rebound king. He played every minute of energy game for seasons on seasons. He had a vertical on par or even ahead of Micheal Jordan. 46–48 inch vertical. He could bench more than most bodybuilders (over 500 pounds). He often gets discounted from conversation for playing in a less competitive age. But we still have never seen a center as strong or as athletic as him since them. When you have a 7 footer who has the highest vertical in NBA history, is probably the strongest player in the history and is someone who was willing to play every possible minute and game, how could you not include him in this list?

Do actors and musicians make more money than entrepreneurs?

Nope, not by a long-shot.Music is not lucrative because you’re basically working in an industry where you’re constantly getting screwed over by entrepreneurs and each play of our song on Spotify earns you approximately $0.00014 or so.This chart below actually shows you how many plays you need to earn a US monthly minimum living wage… ($1,260)So no, musiciansare definitely not richer than entrepreneurs. If anything, the entrepreneurs own the creative industries so logically they would be richer anyway. However, how do all these musicians make money from their music? They don’t.They invest wisely. Take sponsors, make money from mercy and branded products and advertising, getting paid for concerts. They spend their money wisely so they can get a good return from it.Actors on the other hand tend to earn a lot more but it’s an equally tough industry to get to that level of earnings. Only the in-demand, A-list actors can get to a point where they’re taking filming contracts for millions of dollars. The rest have to make do with average-joe salaries.Apparently it’s something like the top %8 who are in constant demand and taking acting contracts.Actors also invest wisely to make a bigger profit and they may also be musicians at the same time (even better). There are actors who also go on to become producers and directors and they earn even more money (provided they can make a good profit on the movie).Entrepreneurs, on the other hand, earn a near-constant stream of money from selling highly priced products to millions of people. All they have to do is play their cards right and be the best business in their sector and they can walk away with fat paycheques - every year. The great part of being an entrepreneur is also that you walk away with millions each year as opposed to musicians/actors who literally don’t know if they’re going to earn anything in the next year.
