How much jail time would a 3rd DUI get you?

This answer applies to Canada. On conviction for your third DUI in the previous five years, your will be sentenced to a MINIMUM of 4 months incarceration, in addition to a multi-year Canada wide driving prohibition. If it is a third conviction not within the previous five years, then there isn’t mandatory incarceration, but you are still likely to get jail of some sort. If your previous convictions are very old, then it may be possible to be treated as a first time offender, which means fines and no jail.Sentencing in Canada is very circumstance dependent. You should always consult with a lawyer who practices in this area.[1]Footnotes[1] impaired driving - Dahlem Criminal Defence

How much jail time will Sean Hannity get?

A lot

How much jail time do you get for second degree murder?

Canada…. Life 10.This means that they have a life sentance with the POSSIBILITY of parole at ten years. This by no means guarentees that the person serving this sentance will be parolled at ten years. In fact people serving this sentance rarely see daylight before serving out 25 years or more.It all depends on whether or not they accept responsibility for their crime, what they have done to address the factors that led them to commit the crime and of course the nature and severity of the crime.Parole elegibility dates are by no means a guarentee that the person incarcerated will be released. They are sentanced to LIFE.

if it happened in illinois, AND it was NOT aggravated fleeing...under Illinois code 625 ILCS 5/11‑204, he would be convicted of fleeing or attempting to flee a police officer and sentenced to...

first offense.. conviction of a class A misdemeanor, up to $2,500 in fines, up to 1 year in prison, and up to six months suspension of driving license,

second offense.. conviction of a class A misdemeanor, up to $2,500 in fines, up to 1 year in prison, and up to 1 year suspension of driving license

Third offense...conviction of a class 4 Felony, 1-3 years in prison, up to $25,000 in fines, revocation of driving license, confiscation of car.

if it happened in Illinois and it WAS AGGRAVATED.. meaning speeds exceeded 21 mph over the speed limit at any time during the chase, OR caused $300 in property damage, OR caused bodily injury to anyone, OR involved disobeying 2 or more traffic signs or signals... then...

first offense... conviction of a class 4 felony, up to 3 years in prison, $25,000 in fines, confiscation of vehicle. Meaning the police now own the car and if you're making payments, you'll still be making them to the bank.

2nd and 3rd offense... conviction of a class 3 felony, up to 5 years in prison, up to $25,000 in fines, confiscation of vehicle, revocation of drivers license.

I would hope there wouldn't be a fourth offense since your friend wouldn't have any money left, wouldn't own a car, and wouldn't have a drivers license so, he would be driving on a revoked license in a stolen car and would probably be shot on sight... ah.. just kidding.. more fines, more jail, etc...
********
other states vary but you the general idea right? massive fines. Loss of license, long time in jail.
