Where is the battery in my Aston Martin Vanquish?
On the ones with seats, the release for battery access is behind the seat back cushion on the right side, if you are facing forward. It looks like a bonnet release. Pull that and the battery access opens. Guessing you have a factory modded one as I know they will do just about anything the customer wants on a car like this. So hopefully they don't move the battery too. Oh and I'm sure you know, but don't forget to keep the battery conditioner(trickle charger) plugged in to keep the battery up, other wise they go flat pretty quick.

Maserati, Aston Martin, Bentley?
All the Astons look very similar- the V8 Vantage, the DB9, and the V12 Vanquish, I believe, are the current ones. I may be out of date. I gotta ask, though, where the hell do you live in order to see these kinds of cars and to get that kind of price cap? ._. Aston Martins are refined and extremely powerful, and have made very successful race cars. Insurance will suck. They have a very executive look to them, and are well regarded and respected in the automotive world if you know how to drive and take care of them. For that price? I assume you're going for a powerful luxury car. The AMG Benzes and the Audi R series are two of the packages that come to mind, along with BMW's M class. Those are more... 'run-of-the-mill', though. Really, it depends on what you want. Are you going for luxury, power, handling, or styling? Edit: I don't doubt the kids are wealthier than normal, haha. But yeah, what are you looking for? There's a bunch of cars in that price range, and plenty perfectly good cars for much less than that. It just depends on what you want. And now since I have time, I'll make a list. What are the costs of owning an Aston Martin?
I’ve had a V12 DB7 for about 8 years. I’ve driven it about 1000 miles per year.When I first got it I spent about $2500 getting it sorted. Every two years it gets a full fluid flush - engine and transmission oil, brake fluid flush, coolant replacement, etc. That costs me $500���700. I’ve had to recharge the A/C and adjust the throttle cables, so one year the service came to about $1200. At some point I’ll have to replace the ignition coil packs, which is a $3500 event, unless I set aside two weekends to do it myself. It’s not particularly difficult but requires quite a bit to be removed to get access — in which case it will be $1500 in parts only.In general it’s been as reliable as my GMC truck or any other car I’ve had. It is vastly cheaper to maintain and service than the Ferrari that I used to have, which is one reason why I sold the Ferrari and kept the Aston.I’m told that the Vantage V-8 is even less hassle to maintain than the V12 models, and at some point I’d like one of those as my daily driver.

You can have it painted at MAACO like any car. Then it will look like any junky other car's repaint job. A decent shop should START about $2-3 thousand for their cheap job. A full repaint for a decent job with paint fit for an Aston, look at $5k min. Some people pay $25K for a paint job, show cars. With that being said, do you want chameleon paint, metallic, ceramic mix, does it need a full sand or just a surface resand, are you changing color, do you want the door jams and under the hood painted, do you want a special color scheme, does it need body work, does it need glass removed, ETC. Sorry to say but your question is about as vauge as "how heavy is a house". Sorry, WAY to many variables. Call your local dealer but then they probably won't tell you without seeing it.

Why is the Vanquish so expensive??
There are a couple reasons for this: 1) When you get into the supercar range, seemingly insignificant differences in the specs can translate to mucho dinero. It's hard to squeeze out a few more horsepower when you're already pushing 500. 2) People will buy the more expensive model because it is more expensive. If you're filthy rich, and $100k isn't but a drop in the bucket, why not go for the .1 mph faster 0-60 and the right to say you own a Vanquish? The manufacturer probably makes a lot of profit on the markup for the Vanquish vs the DB9. It works. Therefore, you see a lot of this in luxury markets.
