How Much Money Per Week Can I Expect To Make At A Pub

What is the average footfall per week for a UK pub?

Down the pubThe average beer drinker visits a pub 4.3 times a month. (The article is from the sun, but quotes industry sources.)Camra reports a decline in pub goers of 3 million, but doesn't say from how many.BBPA Home - Statistics There are 50,395 pubs in England27000 barrels of beer are sold quarterly.A UK barrel is 36gallons or 288 pints. The average pub sells about 5.4 barrels a quarter or around 2600 pints a quarter, that is around 200 pints a weekGiven that the average person drinks 5 pints on a visit, pubs rely on around 40 visitors on average.I couldn't find any industry sources, but this sounds reasonable.

How much money do you spend per week on alcohol at bars, restaurants, liquor stores, etc.?

$0.27.My favorite beer is $14/six pack including tax, and I seem to have one beer worth $2.33 every two months. It started innocently enough. I stopped drinking Sundays so I’d be fresh before my VO2max Monday cycling workout. That was good, so I abstained Wednesdays before Threshold Thursdays. I progressed to no beer Fridays before Not Short Saturdays which were usually 40–50 miles but could stretch past 200. I may have been better rested in the mornings, so I stopped having a beer the night before my thrice weekly 2 hour sub aerobic threshold rides. Only Saturdays before my Sunday rest days remained, and buying beer to have one a week didn’t seem worth the effort.Ballast Point Sculpin is very tasty, so I relented and keep a six pack in my refrigerator.I don’t drink at restaurants except on vacation getting around by taxi because I don’t drink a drop before driving.I haven’t had a vacation in over a year on which I might have a beer with a meal.

How much profit does a pub make from beer?

James’s figures sound like it’s a lot of profit (say £3 a pint), but the main cost to a pub is not the beer but the premises, equipment, staff etc. Most pubs and restaurants need a higher margin than just serving beer can provide to cover these costs.Draught beer is actually one of the least profitable items for most pubs, served because it brings customers in not because it makes money. The profit is made on food (think about the cost of making a salad you spend £10 on) and other drinks. Postmix soft drinks are almost all profit, costing pennies to make and selling for £2 or so. Similarly, spirits and mixers are more profitable: a bottle of vodka (70cl) costs around £15, and will make 21 shots that can be sold for £3–4 each. Factor in the marked up mixers and you have a very profitable product.

Can a pizza delivery driver expect a good tax return?

Judy's made excellent points.

Even if you could deduct the mileage, you haven't been keeping mileage logs. Without adequate records, you can't use the form 2106.

Let's say that you are not a dependent and earn $20,000 (tips are included). To get the income, you drive 5000 miles.
You automatically get a $5450 standard deduction.

So you sit down to do the 2106. 5000 * .505 = $2525. Your employer didn't reimburse you. You copy the $2525 to the schedule A. You subtract $400 (2% of your AGI), leaving you with $2125. You look at the rest of the schedule and realize yo have nothing else to deduct. Since $2125 is LESS than $5450, you use the standard deduction.

Bingo, your taxes are still calculated the same way. All the mileage did nothing to the tax bill.

BARTEND: How much money does a bartender make?

Well I didn't have any certification as a bartender but I was one for about a year and a half and that was the best paying job ever. My tips were always more than my pay. I only worked in a small town bar and I took home $200 easy on a band night. Not meaning to be rude but really there is no way to estimate howmuch you will make. It really does have to do with how you look and if you can mix those drinks with a little show. I've never worked in a hotel but I would think due to the hotel night clubs I have seen that not a lot is paid in tips in those bars. They are paying so much for the room they stay in they don't tip as much. Your hourly pay would most likely be higher, but that's nothing in comparison to tips. At my small town bar I made about $600 a week. Good money as long as not to many men pinched me. I'm sure in a more develped area you can do better. Good luck.

Ho much does an average bartender make? per shift? per week?

Depends, where you work (at a live bar or a dead bar)
and who your customers are!
Well bartending shift should be 6-8 hours anf a pay of between $5-$8 per hour, ( I get $7.15 per hour)
and I work between 6-8 hours, my mananger lets me off if he see;s i did enough for the day and then closes the bar on the beach and leaves the one inside open (where my co-worker is)

On the beach bartending is fun, a good tip is be friendly with the persons your serving, and now and then slip them a free drink! (if there a good customer) This brings in TIPS~
My day tips add up to about $30-$80
