What is the best music app for an iPhone that doesn't need internet access to play?
If not already mentioned, PlayTube. PlayTube lets you "cache" YouTube videos. This will allow you to take any video off of YouTube and play it in the middle of nowhere. This includes music. The only thing irritating about it is the ads when connected, but overall, great app. Unlike YouTube, this one has the ability to keep playing while your iPxxxx is locked. Why do Pandora and Spotify stop when I start browsing the internet on my phone?
I suppose this happens when you are browsing net using chrome or firefox.I too have faced this issue.The problem is ,Spotifu,Pandora and Chrome/firefox are resource intensive apps and have a large RAM footprint i.e. they consume a lot of RAM. Moto G has just 1 gb RAM out of which hardly 250-300 mb is free.This is not enough to sustain these apps simultaneously .As a result, one of the apps closes depending upon which app is being used in the foreground ie active app.This will also happen if you open spotify with chrome in the background.In this case the tabs will reload when you switch to chrome from spotify.The solution is to remove social apps from phone.These apps are constantly connected to their servers and waste a lot of RAM(fb being the main culprit) as well as data usage.Keep only essential apps .The best solution is to get root and use minfree manager in combination with greenify.Also rooting allows you to remove unnecessary system apps using Titanium Backup.Hope this helps.

Easily Spotify. I personally use Spotify Premium but from what I've heard, the normal version is still great too. Overall, it's an amazing music app that allows you to listen to almost any song. They recently added ACDC and the Beatles but Taylor Swift refused to have her music on there because of the lack of royalties. If you're a Taylor Swift fan, don't get Spotify.

Hmm, hard to tell. I think it mainly depends on how much Spotify streaming music u listen to usually. If you are that worried by not going over you monthly cap, suppose you can use one of the streaming music recorder programs to help you keep the bandwidth usage lower. You can take a look, for starters at some Audials Tunebite piece of software. This one for example, is able to capture and record Spotify streaming music to you hard drive for offline listening without any issues. Seems to me it really comes in handy for this sorta cases when you need to be able to save Spotify streaming and not to have to listen to the music online. Plus you'd be able to actually listen to the music you get this way on absolutely any devices you need.

the answer to this question is multifaceted and it is yes and no. :) If you are streaming music via spotify, youtube, pandora etc. yes it does use data. Unless you have one of the cell providers where they do not count data used with certain apps.If you are playing music that is stored on your phone it does not use data.
