How Much Should I Charge For My Beats

How Much Do Producers Charge For Beats?

I was watching a Talib Kweli interview and he was talking about when he met Kayne West. Kayne came in the studio looking for Mos Def to give him some beats he had. My question is, do producers like that just give their instrumentals away? Or do they charge money? And if so, how much would they charge?

Im not looking to buy beats from Kayne West. Lol. Just curious.

How much does Zaytoven charge for a beat?

Like someone else said, it depends what type of position you're in.If you are a big name, you might not have to pay up front, but rather opt for some points on the back end.The best way to find out would be to contact his manager and ask. You might be able to work something out.Or find someone on the come up with the same style and build a relationship with them.

Why are my beats by dre headphones not charging?

I'm so annoyed!!! I got these wireless beats by dre headphones 2 days ago and they wouldnt charge. so i went down to the store to get them replace and they still don't charge! I dont understand it. I attach the cable to the usb port and it shows a red light indicating that it is charging... I charge it for hours until the green light comes on indicating that it is fully charged. I unplug them and turn them on and it turns blue for a second then blinks red and shuts down. If i try turning it on while charging then it turns blue for a second then flashes blue and red alternatively for a few minutes then shuts down. This is so frustrating does anyone know how to fix this!

What is a good price to charge for licensing beats and providing a studio?

That's a good question. You will need four price points: Set a floor, a price that is the minimum required to cover your costs. Do a little research and find the highest rate for a similar service in your market. Find out the rate for the busiest and most popular similar service in your market. Position your initial rate within the market in comparison to these two rates, and begin advertising at that rate. Finally, begin promotions offering 10% or 15% off the advertised rate for certain clients or for certain times of the week or for people who come to your open mic night or something.Once you get people coming in you can adjust your rates (hopefully upward) to manage traffic and phase out the loss leaders. You will also find that your studio offers something in particular within the market, even though you think of it as a general-purpose studio. For instance, acoustic musicians may find that their stuff sounds great there, or you have a special touch with drums, or your mastering engineer is really special. Be prepared to recognize and build around whatever that competitive advantage turns out to be, because you can charge more for it.

I am having problems with my ibeats?

If this happens, restart the iBeats..

OR

clean up the device...

Good luck!

My beat headphones always need to charge, and recently the charger doesn't work unless if I push it in really hard. What is the issue?

The issue is that you got suckered in to buying Beats headphones. All Beats headphones are overpriced crap. This is the kind of stuff that happens with really cheaply built headphones. You could try to fix it, but it is likely unfixable for a reasonable amount of time and money. The good news is that if you carefully buy your next set of headphones, they will cost half the price and sound way better. Just stay away from Beats and Skullcandy. Both brands are notorious for building cheap, impossible to repair products with the majority of the sales price funding their heavily financed promotional campaigns. Nothing costing less than a few hundred dollars is going to approach rugged and repairable, so your next choice should be based on independent reviews of headphones. You will find many makes and models that you’ve never heard of but are highly rated.
