Would there have been as much criticism? Hell no. There would have been more. Obama could do nothing right in the opinion of the conservatives (trumps base); even with Obama trying to pull slow North Korea’s march towards becoming a legitimate nuclear power.In all honestly, I think the fact that trump and Un are meeting is a great thing and it should have taken place with Obama, but there are a whole shit ton of concerns when two nations that tend to be at each others throats have their leaders meeting, especially when its within miles either nations border. Because, remember…. this is still a cold war. But trump has been dousing it in gasoline and Un is holding the match.

Good question. He is certainly the first "community organizer" in chief. That being said I don't think the secret service would feel comfortable taking Obama to meet his faithful Obamabots in the inner cities. Especially Chicago.

I would not want to take up his time. But should this somehow transpire, I would very much like to shake his hand, to thank him for his service to this country, and to tell him that no one in my lifetime has made me prouder of what my country can be.It will always be a tragedy that both Congress and many ignorant Americans proved unworthy of him and his magnanimous efforts at bipartisanship.I would thank him too for dedicating the first years of his post-presidency to working to undo the gerrymandering of congressional districts.No president, no man, is perfect. But his was an especially tough version of a very tough job, and he handled it with superhuman grace. I don’t have heroes, really, but there is no American political figure I admire more.
