How Much Trouble Would You Get In If You Had Alcohol At School

Oh! Goodness me!I never expected to come across such a question in my entire life.Okay, so you talk about social stress and you do think that alcohol is going to reduce it. Right? You are absolutely wrong. Remember one thing, if you are drinking to reduce your stress, you aren't reducing it, instead you are just borrowing happiness from future. No stress in this world is as harmful for you as the after effects of alcohol on your body. This is just the start. As you will grow up, you will find way bigger problems in life as compared to overthinking. The fact that you have asked this question clearly shows that you are trying to avoid facing the problems of your life. If you develop this tendency at this stage, you will end up ruining yourself.I turned 17 about three and a half months ago, and I also have problem of overthinking. I was reckessly bullied emotionally in my school for about 2 years by my classmates, owing to which I suffer from inferiority complex till date. And honestly, I literally cried in a corner of my room the day when everyone made my fun in the class. But I gradually realised that I am a human and I should learn to ignore, those who are teasing me also are (maybe :) ) , they might really not mean what they say (Although they did cross their line sometimes ), but I never complained nor told anyone about it, nor did I ever think of consuming alcohol. And guess what? After my school life almost nearing its end, we are all friends and I realised that my desicion was right and complaining to the school authorities would have made matters worse. So what am I trying to say? All the problems which you are experiencing are temporary. Even you would laugh at your problems you are currently facing after some time. And also, the sight of you going to school after having alcohol won't be an eye pleasing one for the people around you, especially your parents ;)Just chill and face your problems yourself with courage, and keep smiling and drop these shitty ideas.Hope it helps. That's all.Arinjay Pathak.

I was very depressed in seventh grade. Found a bottle of champagne one day and poured out half the bottle, diluting the rest with tap water. I chugged the entire thing while on antidepressants.Big mistake. Was basically knocked out within 5 minutes. If you didn’t already know, alcohol with antidepressants or painkillers can slow down your heart rate big time. I was home alone.I sometimes wonder how much extra painkiller or alcohol it would have taken me to die on the ground.Woke up on the ground 2–3 hours later and realized that I shouldn’t have been asleep on the kitchen ground like that. I figured out what had happened and was completely horrified. Haven’t drank since and kind of not planning on it.

Yeah, and succeeded too. In the late 1960s, a group of us took a hypodermic syringe (one of the guys had a mom who was a nurse) and filled it with vodka, which we injected into oranges in several places. We then took them to our high school's basketball game. Sitting in the stands, we tore off a small piece of the peel and squeezed out the juice into our mouths. It probably wasn't much booze as I certainly never got remotely close to being drunk. It was pretty messy too. We expected that, so we had each taken some paper napkins for cleanup. I got some juice on my t-shirt and my forearms were sore from the strength it took to squeeze out the juice, so I didn't think it was all that successful. It did feel kind of good to be putting one over on the teachers though. Had they asked, we even had a couple of unadulterated oranges to pass out, but they never did ask.

Does anyone take alcohol 2 school?

okay im in 11th grade too i did that once BIGGEST DISASTER EVER.

i mixed vodka in my orange juice and i felt fine untill the end of first period people started to know i was acting weird and i was yelling at people, than my friends dumped it down the sink so my whole physics class knew.

2nd period we had a guest speaker in health and i totally blacked out i could barley see so ii went to the bathroom and all the girls in there made fun of me because i was crying and sticking my head under the hand drier.

than by 3rd period i had a massive headach, and all of the 11th grade class knew about it and even some teachers, luckly the teachers that did find out were cool about it and didn't tell the principal.

ive never had the best home life and i thought i could drink my problems away, even though ive had only had one beer before that incident.

trust me, to save you some time and trouble, you really dont want to be labeled the school drunk. (do it at parties AFTER school lol)

A few quick questions (I’m a retired public school teacher):Why did you bring alcohol to school? Was it a gift for the teacher?I’ve had students (4th graders) bring me a bottle of wine or a large bottle of craft beer to class as a gift. I simply take it to the office and put it behind the secretary’s desk until school is over. Twice, however, I let the secretary have it - red wine in particularly - not my cuppa tea.But we had a VERY open policy about discussing drugs and alcohol. The students knew they weren’t supposed to bring booze to school so they generally gave it to me before class - which was fine as far as I was concerned. Technically against the rules (I believe it was also against state law) but I considered intent a crucial factor. And I love good craft beer. The other issue is that I was raised in East Africa. My parents let me begin drinking at age 14. When I went to boarding school we were allowed to drink - age 16 and up - but we were NOT ALLOWED to be drunk. When I went to college I was one of the few that didn’t get blasted every weekend as I had learned that one beer or one glass of wine at supper was OK. Two and I’d fall asleep and not get my (home) work done. Now if a student brings alcohol to DRINK at school . . that’s another issue entirely.

Has anyone ever drank alcohol before school?

"a couple of kids i know are thinking about drinking before the first day of 11th grade. what do you think?-"

I hate to be a party pooper but as an adult I can not say that this is a good idea. I hate to sound like some old fart but I have to tell you that drinking at this early age is jut not a good idea for a huge variety of reasons.

" have you done it before?"-Having said that I have to say I did this but only once in Jr. High and once again in high school.

" is it fun?" Now here I have to be honest with you and say hell yeah that was a lot of fun! lol

" did you get caught?" The time in High School no but the time in Jr. High School yes and it was not fun. They called my parents and my parents got very mad at me and it was a big mess. lol

Can you get kicked out of school for bring alcohol?

The meeting decides if you get kicked out or not.

If you go in and say "I was going to get drunk with my mates at lunch time" then you will probably get expelled. If you say something like "I brought it to school to give to my aunt who is picking me up today." and have your mother back you up then you will probably get away with it - but you should have done that straight away when you got suspended, not 10 days later.

And this is obviously not the UK. I knew people who used to turn up to highschool drunk on the last week of term and party in lessons.

What happens if you get caught with alcohol at school?

Creating an alcohol dependency to fix an anxiety issue isn't going to solve your problems. It will, in fact, create even more.

"My dad is an alcoholic so yeah." -- Which means you have the genetic tendency. Alateen for Teens: http://www.al-anon.alateen.org/for-alate...

"I'm not into drugs or beer..." -- It's good you're not doing drugs, but don't feel so proud of not drinking beer. Wine has twice the alcohol content that beer has.

"... but what choice do I have?" -- You have lots of choices. You just can't see it yet.

"I have started cutting myself" -- Your issues go beyond just drinking on school property and they don't stop with just underage drinking. Cutting and other forms of self-injury are ways of relieving stress and anxiety and are often how children with poor parental role models deal with stress.

"What will happen if I do get caught ?" -- Keep it up and sooner or later, some one will smell wine on your breath or exuding from your pores. So what happens? Expulsion from school, on your permanent academic record. The rest depends on other factors. The school could prosecute for drinking on school grounds. You could spend time in a juvenile facility, or get 6 months probation for a first time offense or you could just be cited and your parents informed or you could have to attend alcohol education classes and do community service. The school has every right to call the police in on this. And no matter what, your parents will be dragged into the picture. There are a number of possible scenarios and it's not possible for me or anyone else to tell you what will happen, only what COULD happen.

Bottom line, I don't care how you do it, but save yourself. Speak to your principal, your dean, your counselor, your school nurse, speak to any one of these people and open your heart to him or her. Do this before anything else happens. Get help and don't accept anything less than help. Keep making a fuss until you get what you need. You have a right to happiness. In addition to you getting the psychological and substance abuse help you sorely need, this may also serve to encourage your father to get help with his abuse problem. And this would result in a change in his overall behavior, probably a very good change.

What happens if you get caught with alcohol at school?

I drank alcohol at school yesterday. Someone snitched. I got ten days suspended and a ticket. I have to go before a judge and they decide whether or not I get arrested or let off the hook. I've been suspended two times already to a detention center. Don't ever bring alcohol to school.. It ruined my life with family and friend and myself. I even have to explain to everyone in court why I'd drink alcohol at school. I'm 14. So my mother gets questioned too.
