I'm 16 years old and my weight is 82 kg. What can I do to lose it?

First of all congratulation that you are already thinking of loosing you extra fat.Remember fat is also important for your body but not in excessive amount. First of all go to a doctor and get your body fat calculated. Under 15 it is considered to be good. If not, try to make it.No rocket science. Jut follow three steps.Stop sugar intake - This is the biggest reason of people getting obese. You take in a lot of calories and you do not do efforts to consume it and it accumulates and becomes fat.Stop eating fried, half fried or mild fired - Just stop eating every fried food item. Even try avoid dishes which consumes oil to get prepared. Try to eat boiled food. Eat raw vegetables or boiled.Start exercising - Just start exercising. You are 16. Just start playing a sport. Morning brisk walk. Eat you dinner 4 hours before you sleep. Even at home when you lye down and watch TV, just start sitting and watch TV. The time when you sit, start standing up. Make a point, after every couple of hours you have to stand and walk a few steps. Take stairs instead of lift.Even in you life try not to become a huge body builder. Try to become fit. Fitness is everything.I am 29, I am married. I am going to have a child soon, and I workout.Fitness.Cheers!

I am 22 years old and my weight is 85 kg. I am only 22 and look like 30 year old man, what are some ways to lose weight?

Congratulations! You have realised that you need to lose weight. Most people don't realise this and keep a mindset of 'we live only once so eat everything'. What they don't realise is that they are reducing the span of only life they have got. Now, for weight loss you need to keep only one thing in mind, i.e. caloric deficit diet. As long as you're in a deficit you'll lose weight. So all the products you come across that guarantee weight loss are directly or indirectly keeping you in a deficit.Since you are young, you can get this excess weight comparatively faster than those who are older than you. Your goal should be to lose fat. Losing weight can consist of losing fats, muscles, water etc. So make sure you lose only fats and gain muscles. Resistance training will accelerate your process. It will help in building muscles which will help in fat loss along with your diet. A structured diet that is deficit in calories, has optimum protein and also has required amount of carbs and fats will do wonders when combined with resistance training. So,Caloric Deficit structured diet + Resistance training = Your Goal! For any further assistance, you can write me at prateek.mewada@gmail.comHope this helps.. :)

How much time does it take to lose 20 kg weight?

I used to weight around 94 kgs, currently I am 72 kgs and it took me 6 months for it.It requires a lot of dedication and hard work. The choice of food matters alot, it's all about 70% of food and 30% of exercise. If you miss either of this, you won't get 100% results.Prepare a plan, you need to focus only on 1 week. So basically your 1week target should be to loose 1-1.25kg per week. This is highly achievable, you need to burn about 500 calories per day and you should consume just 1000–1200 calories per day.Let me tell you my routine of how I lost my weight. I used to hit the gym and spend about 1.30–2 hrs of time in gym, I used to build muscle the first day and do carido for the second day and it's always the alternative. So I used to build muscle to get a shape and burn the calories the next day. I used to burn about 500 calories if it was a muscle day and burn 600 calories on a carido dayYour diet should be of a healthy one's with 8 meals per day and drink 8–10lts of water. Avoide junk, and rice only once in a week, eat lot of veggies, fruits, and once in a week spend ur diet on liquid diet by having fruits and vegetables juices without sugar.Try it out for a month and you will loose close by to 5kgs.Hope this helps cheers.

I am a 17 year old female, 5'2" & I weigh 75 kgs. Is it possible for me to lose 25 kgs in 3 months by strict 800 calorie diet and exercise?

Do not try such drastic measures at this age.  Weight loss should be a long term and permanent solution and not something in 3 months and gain all the weight back or more in the following 6 months or 9.  At 17, be more active.  Be cautious of what junk food you are eating.  Eat healthy foods which are sources of dietary fat and protein - Almonds, Extra Virgin Olive Oil, fish, egg, curd, milk, paneer, etc., and proportionately reduce refined carb (bread, rice, roti, parrot) and sugar.  Buy a couple of light weight 2Kg-5Kg dumb bells and practice at home if you cannot join a Gym for weight lifting and resistance exercises.  At 75Kg, you can perform many body weight resistance exercises - crunches, push ups, etc..

I am 40 years old. My height is 159 cm and I weigh 83 kg. How much weight should I lose?

Your BMI (weight in relation to height) would be 32.8A healthy BMI is between 18.5 and 24.9A BMI of 32.8 would put you in the obese category, however, BMI does not account for lean muscle vs fat and a more accurate method (in my opinion) would be to get your body fat percentage measured.Best of luck!

Is this waist line too big for a 15 year old girl? 27 inches, and i'm around 5'2.?

I weigh around 118 pounds(i've lost about four pounds since last Friday). My waist in July was 32 and my hips were 36. Now my waist is 27 and my hips are 32. But i feel fat and horrible. I've lost over 30 pounds since November of last year and 14 of that in just the last few months. Everyone keeps saying "You're getting so skinny!" and "You've lost so much weight!" But i don't believe it. Do i sound fat?
