How Much $$ Will It Cost To Build A Real Scifi Airshow

How much money approximately would it cost to build a live size model of the Jupiter 2 from lost in space?

The problem is that the interior sets were larger than the exterior sets. The Jupiter 2 would not fit into itself. The best you could do would be to leave out sections such as the docking bay.

Why not just arm the B-2 stealth bomber with air to air missiles to knock out aircraft and come back, no one can see it?

That’s actually an old idea, played out by Dale Brown - Wikipedia in his Sci-Fi novels around the “Megafortress”. Starting out with a B-52 that gets armed with AMRAAMs, new engines etc, in later books he extends his ideas to B-1Bs and B-2s (and later adds even more futuristic stuff like small air-combat drones that launch from and return to the bomber).Basically, it’s an extension of the old dream of the bomber pilots - “the bomber always gets through”. Only… bombers aren’t agile enough to dogfight, and will never carry enough missiles to hit ALL interceptors trying to stop them. And even ONE lucky shot by one interceptor pilot is all it takes… in WW2, the USAAF tried to push this concept by arming bombers with scores of guns, and sending them in by the dozens, thinking that each bomber gets defended by several others. The Schweinfurt–Regensburg mission - Wikipedia showed how well that idea worked…Basically a bomber has one job: To reach its target and destroy it with bombs and missiles. It’s bad enough that it has to destroy SAM launchers deep behind enemy lines where Wild Weasels can’t reach them (which is why USAF nuclear bombers carried SRAM missiles with small nuclear warheads - to destroy air defense systems between them and their primary targets). Adding MORE weapons to counter air threats would not only limit the amount of weapons they can carry against ground targets, it would also require the bombers to leave their low-level flightplan and expose themselves even more to air defense.Add to that the fact that to launch an AAM, you have to know where to aim it - so, you need radar to find the target. While there’s some ways to get targeting data from other aircraft (AWACS, other fighters) to help a fighter target the enemy without using his own radar, that option wouldn’t be available to a bomber deep inside enemy territory… so the bomber would have to carry it’s own radar, which would make it no longer stealthy at all.

Why does the outer surface of a bottle get wet when it is filled with chilled water?

It happens due to a phenomena called CondensationAir contains moisture (water vapours) normally termed as 'humidity'. The warmer the air, the more water it can hold. Now when you pour in chilled water, the surface temperature of the bottle decreases and it becomes cold. This 'cold' gets transferred to air surrounding the bottle, making the nearby air 'cooler'.As the nearby air cools down, its ability to hold water decreases and that water gets surrounded around the water bottle in the form of droplets making the outside of your bottle (or steel jar) wet. This process is similar to what causes clouds to form and rain to fall. Moisture in the air is condensed and precipitated because of cooler temperature and similar effects.Hope this helps.
