How Much Will Ps4 Price Drop Within A Year

Will the PS4 prices drop in India?

Believing what Mr.Atindriya Bose(Playstation Head,India) had to say in an interview with NDTV Gadget on 30th June 2015, it is quite unlikely to see an official price drop in the Diwali season. He also added, rather than a price drop they will offer better value for money .i.e., better bundles with more games & offers at the same 'reasonable' price as Bose quoted(which I don't think is reasonable at all).Bonus News: A 1TB PS4 is coming to India this Diwali!Edit: Try looking at Paytm app for a decent cashback offer, they're currently(as on 19th Sept. 2015) selling it at Rs 37,185 but they will give you a cashback(Paytm wallet) of Rs 7,437 which you can use to shop or recharge in the coming months & that makes the net of price of PS4 at Rs 29,748 which is quite a deep discount to consider.Sources:http://m.gadgets.ndtv.com/games/...

When will PS4 pro price will drop in India?

My observation says “Not too soon… buddy”Ps4 pro just released for Indian market and if you remember when Ps4(old, not pro) launched, its price tag remained almost the same until Ps4 pro launched in 2017. Evan the old generation console ps3 price has not doped much!!Company strategy would be to bundle it with one or two games or couple it with an extra controller, but price will not vary much. This can be seen mostly during the festive season (Diwali and Christmas holidays)Good thing is, company has kept the same price tag for Ps4 pro as it was during the Ps4 launch in 2013.So, don’t wait for price drop. I have one and its the most powerful console as of now.

Do you think Sony will drop the price of PS4 at this years E3? Why or why not?

The thing Sony has going for it at the moment is it's reduced price compared to the XBox One plus slightly higher processing power due to not including as advanced a system as kinect. Now that Microsoft is going to offer a version without Kinect for the same price the only option Sony has to maintain competitiveness is to drop their price.Prices generally drop over the life of a system anyhow as the cost of manufacturing drops with volume sales and as the technology becomes older it is cheaper to produce. Both systems will continue to drop in price over the next few years but will likely stabilize within 50$ or so of each other.Originally Sony was going to include their PS Eye with every system but when Microsoft announced the same strategy they nixed that idea to cut the price and try to draw in bargain hunters. As we can see with Microsoft being forced to offer a Kinect less system this is now hurting innovation and technology. As I pointed out in other answers game developers are not going to develop for an add-on that only a small percentage of the public owns. Ariel Williams's answer to Why is Microsoft including the Kinect with every Xbox One? Offering it as an optional add-on guarantees that it will never be properly utilized. If everyone has it then there is a reason to develop the technology. By changing their plans for a small initial boost in sales Sony has actually crippled what could have been the next step in gaming. Instead of being innovators they are going for the budget system. From here their only option is to now race to the bottom by trying to continue to undercut the price of their only real competitor.

Will PS4 Games Or PS4 Be Droping Price On Black Friday?

Now we know the PS4 comes out November 15th to USA & Canada But i'm not sure of 2 things

1.Will the PS4 On Sale For Black Friday
2.Will PS4 Games Be On Sale For Black Friday?

I need a serious answer, I know this is probably a stupid but I really need to know because am buying PS4 this November and might be around ThanksGiving.

When will PS4 prices drop a lot?

Probably not for another few years. It’s only been been on the market since Nov 23, 2013. That’s not even half of it’s life cycle. Generally after 5–6 years on the market they will drop the price $100 to $150. You might find sales at places like Walmart or Bestbuy during Black Friday or Christmas. Sony likes to do bundles (which I recommend) my friend bought a PS4 bundled with Uncharted Collection, Killzone, Driveclub and InFamous Second Son for $329.99

Will the the introduction of the PS5 help the price drop for the PS4? Are the prices dropping till May 2018?

Yes, the prices of PS4 and PS4 pro would definitely see a drop once the PS5 is launched. There is no official statement from Sony about the expected date of release. But there are speculations that the PS5 console might release on late 2019 or early 2020. But these are just speculations. If and when the PS5 releases, the prices would see a decrease, but there would be limited stock units of PS4 and PS4 pro. Sony would stop manufacturing PS4 and PS4 pro months ahead of the release.

Will the price of PS4 drop when PS4 PRO comes out?

It is probable, but not by much. The Ps4 isn’t outdated in today’s market, and will probably continued to be bought by those who do not want to fork over the extra cash for a Ps4 Pro for a few extra features. I foresee a small drop, at most maybe $50–$75 off. Your best bet, if you want to get a Ps4 cheaper, is to go the day the Pro comes out, and then try to get a pre-owned Ps4. It is a huge gamble, but if you are lucky you will get one a die hard Sony fan turned in in good condition to get a Pro, but I do not think it is very likely to get this lucky, so I would just recommend saving up and getting a new one.

Is there any chance that the price of the PS4 may drop below ₹20k by the end of 2017?

It might but there is a very low chance for that. You see, if you have studied the trend of these prices, what usually happens is that they go down to a certain limit before fixing on that limit. For eg. everytime a new ps4 game comes out in the market, it is generally priced at 4,000 or above but if the game bombs and the reviews are bad, it drops down but it will achieve a limit of about 1500. If it becomes a hit, the probability of prices falling becomes significantly low. For eg. when Gta 5 came into the market, its price was about 4000 but still after 3 years in 2016 its price hadn’t gone down from 3500. So unless ps5 is launched, the prices of a ps4 going down under 20k is not very likely. Hope it helps. Feel free to reply.
