How Much Would A 3 000 Sq Foot Home Cost A Month

How long would it take to build a 25000 square foot house?

Completely depends on your budget. Basically you have time, quality, and cost. You generally have to pick 2, you can have a building done fast and cheap, but at the cost of quality. You can have it done fast and really well done, but itll cost you a ton, or you can have it done cheaply and well done, but its gonna take time. Not sure it 25,000 was a typo. But generally its takes about a year for typical residential construction (privately) to be done. Again that can vary to some extremes. Ive seen houses go up in 3 months and ive seen houses take 3 years. It depends on if you hire out your work, do it yourself, have it coordinated correctly (permits lined up, contractors in order, etc, etc).I know that doesnt help a ton, but hopefully gives you an idea.

How much would it cost to power a 1000 sqft. home with a solar system 100%.?

It's a common misconception that residential solar system sizing is based on the size of your house. In fact, the best way to determine this would be to take a look at your electricity bill. You are looking for the number of kilo-watt hours (kWh) that your home uses per month. It would be best if you could look at a bill that possibly has a bit of "history" on it, showing your usage over a year so that you could get a good idea of your average energy usage per month. If you don't have a power bill to go off of, you can always do a loads list calculation and figure how much electricity you would need to generate.

The next factor that will come into play is the location of your home. Each location on the planet has an average "solar insolation value". This will be the average amount of "noon day sun" that your home gets each day.

These are the two factors that will determine the size and cost of a residential solar system. Incorporating batteries into a system of this size can be very expensive ($3000-$40,000 for the batteries alone) and could require monthly maintenance.

A ballpark cost for one of these systems would be anywhere from $10,000 to $50,000 depending on your usage and solar resource. If you want to get a better idea of a system that would power your own home, plug your info into an online calculator.

The cost of building a 20,000 sqft mansion on monthly payment plan?

Suppose you make 100,000 dollars per month. But you have either a bad credit, (or no credit at all) and you've just started earning this much amount.

I know this depends on the material of the building, but suppose if you want to build a mansion 20,000 sqft of space, with 'normal ingredients,' can you make a deal with the contractor to build a mansion and pay via monthly fee?
What would be the cost?

Thanks.

How do I downsize from my 3,000 sq. foot home, that I have lived in for 35 years, in order to move out of state to a 1,000 sq. foot cottage in two months?

You would like to translocate from your 3000 Sqft home to another property of 1000 sqft. Correct ? I am sure this must be a sentimental issue since you are staying in this property for almost 35 years. Right ?This is a marvelous question and could be answered if the exact data is available. The data can be certainly extracted and compiled provided we know the specifics. We need to determine the following :What could be the best sale proceeds of your existing property ?What could be the optimum price for the property you would like to now posess ?This can be either bought as a ready made unitNew UnitPre-occupied propertyThis can also be constructed at the chosen locationThe obvious question is that whether we can buy property 2 from the proceeds of the proceeds of property 01 ?When you have taken a time schedule of 2 months , does this include the time taken for the logistics and relocation at the new unit ?The time to be given for the establishment of the various facilities at new location such as the Electricity , telephone , gas etc also need to be taken into account. It is suggested to first make a tentative bar chart [ or GANTT chart ] for the entire process . Starting with the major tasks and followed by micro tasks. Use of a project management tool such as GANTT chart is recommended .I would have initiated by preparing check lists for all the major tasks to be completed. There are Qualitiative as well as Quantitiative activities which are needed so that the whole project gets completed in the stipulated time period. You can message me the specifics so that I can assist you in your basic thinking.Thank you for the A2A.All the best !

Need a guesstimate of heating bill cost of a 3000 sq ft home . . .?

other answers correct....a rough estimate in maryland for a 3000 sq.ft. house heated by natural gas with a relatively new furnace would be about $600 for a cold month in an older home...$500 for a home built in the 1960's-1970's....$400 for a newer well insulated home..."cold" for us would be an average temp for the month of around 25-30 deg,,30-35deg day,,,15-20 deg night.....that would be the total gas and electric bill, not just for heating....add another $100-200 for total if house is heated with oil or a heat pump,,,even a little more than that if propane,,or if temps are colder than i stated.......right now natural gas is around 90 cents per therm including delivery,,,oil is around $2 per gallon,,electricity is around 13 cents per kw including delivery........dan

What`s the cost per sq ft for a new house in the SF bayarea?

Nobody can build new houses here. There's no land left. 1,200 square foot condos start at half a million US$ and up. Average price for a 3,000 square foot single family home is about US$2-3 million. The rental market is not much better... $1,000-$1,500 per month for a tiny studio apartment. That's why 60% of our disposable income is spent on housing in SF, so we are either living in communes or we don't own cars.

How long would it take to build a 10,000 sq ft home if the land is flat and the house will have 3 stories, provided with 7 months of good weather and 5 months of bad/not too bad weather?

You were not specific.Allow a few months for drawings if it is a custom plan by a designer. Prelim.. approvals, changes, material selection etc. etc.In most municipalities allow a few months for all construction approvals. This can vary widely. If the neighborhood requires approval by an architectural review board it can take over a year. Some rural areas, a few weeks. The actual construction time can vary the most. Rule of thumb: more preparation work and time can yield the shortest construction time. Extreme examples are 2,000 SF homes built in 24 hours. But they took months of prep time and additional material and labor costs as well as cooperation of building officials who stayed on site. More common are prefabricated homes, built in a factory, with components assembled on site. It of course requires additional factory time but is not subjected to as many weather delays. The biggest time variables in the construction of a house are: weather, availability of materials, availability of skilled laborers, complexity of construction, disputes, availability of funds, errors, in no particular order. Many problems before and during construction can be more quickly overcome by the application of cash.I would say construction time of 6 months to a year is very feasible. Control of as many variables as possible is very important.Having a charted out construction schedule set up by a professional is critical. I would not start a job without it.

What is the reasonable monthly rent for a 1,200 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2 full bath house on a one acre lot?

It will depend on a whole lot more information than you have provided. Location, amenities, state of repair, finishes, etc. A good starting point is to head over to Zillow: Real Estate, Apartments, Mortgages & Home Values and input the address. To get the most precise answer you're really going to need to consult a local real estate agent or a rental management company.

Is it wrong to charge my brother rent?

My 30 year old brother currently lives with my husband and I and our 3 children. We share a 3000 sq ft home. He has a bedroom downstairs and all of ours is upstairs. He has a semi private bathroom. He is the only one that uses the shower. We are currently charging him $320 a month. He eats with us when I cook and does not buy the food. He does buy snacks occasionally. We also provide laundry detergent etc. He hints that we are charging him too much. Should we split everything 6 ways instead?

How long would it take to make a 6000 sq. ft. house?

Building a house of any size depends largely on the construction methods, location, weather, and availability of materials. Six thousand square feet is a lot of house… but in ideal conditions, it could be thrown up in six to eight weeks. Now, if you want to end up with a quality house, you might want to wait six to eight months…allowing time for workmen to do a good job.Land clearing, site preparation, and foundation layout should take about 2 weeks if the site is fairly level and weather doesn’t become an obstacle.Digging and preparing footings, another week, including pouring concrete.Laying up foundation block, roughing in electrical, plumbing and air conditioning chases, another two weeks.Preparing and placing concrete slab, including grading, compaction, termite treatments, moisture barrier, reinforcing, and inspection, another two weeks for a finished slab.Framing, with a good crew, standard walls and roof trusses, three weeks to dry in. Then, rough in electric, plumbing, and air conditioning ductwork, another week.Somewhere in the following sequence, exterior finishes, driveways, landscaping, and civil connections will need to be made…brick?, vinyl?, hardiboard?…Hanging drywall, taping, finishing, and painting, two weeks. Install cabinets, flooring, trim, casings, and other features, two more weeks.Flooring, electrical and plumbing trim out, appliances, and final trim out and touch up, another week.Somewhere along the way we need to get electrical service, including the temporary pole, building permits, septic tank or sewer connections, water service or well, inspections, and a few other “minor details” (note that minor details are the ones that bust schedules…), and with luck, from the day the permit is pulled, to turn key status, you really are looking at 12 weeks if everything goes according to schedule.
