Do you like the sound of your own voice?
Most people don’t like their voice when they hear it played back from a recording, because it’s not the same voice they hear in their head. Those who train their voice can learn to appreciate and like how others hear them as well, over time.Growing up I liked the sound of my voice in my head, but not recorded. In my head it was deeper, to others it was higher pitched, which I never liked. As I grew up and tried recording my singing to play back, I got used to it, but preferred my lower range much more than my head voice. Now, I feel pretty good about my recorded sound, and I can reconcile the two much better, now that I’ve had vocal training, and my external sound has actually deepened and darkened just a bit over the years so it isn’t as high pitched as it used to be, as well as more resonant and less nasal. Vocal training makes a huge difference in sound quality.

OMG.. me too when i pick up the phone ppl think that its my brother then when i tell them its me they get suprised and start apologizing i try to talk high pitched and its a lil better now
I'm 16 and my voice sounds like a baby's voice?
It might seem like something stupid to complain about. I get made fun of for it in Highschool like people think im like 10 or something and im 16 I look like my age but I do not sound like it. Where ever I go people bother me about my voice they mistake my age all the time as if I look like im 10-13 just a bit big. This of course bothers me in multiplayer games I've always played them on and off (not addictiveley) but whenever I need to use the mic to talk with my fellow players.. When I talk people mistake me for like a 4 year old that took the mic. I have always had issues with my voice.. and now im 16 and my voice still hasn't changed. It seems like ive hit puberty with everything except my voice! I want to know if their is anyway whatsoever I could change it its so painful to talk like this and get insulted for it and not being able to talk to people over the phone or on skype and stuff! please help me
How can I make my voice sound like I'm sick?
since i barely get sick and still need to claim sick days, i lay on my bed on my back and hang my head over the side, and talk normal. its not over the top but makes you sound a little rough!!

A voice reveal, right?Alright, so.This video was due when I had hit 1000 followers, back in what, late September/Early October?Well, due to a lot of personal issues my animator friend was going through, and the software updating, corrupting the animation, the video got postponed for quite a few months. I mean, given that it’s February and 2019 now, and I’m at 2000+ followers, I feel like that’s pretty obvious.I could have just posted the audio, and honestly at times I kind of wanted to, just to get it out of my way, but! I made a promise, and I don’t like to go back on promises.Honestly I put a lot more effort into a voice reveal than I should have, but hey, I more or less really like the end product.So, first and foremost, the voice reveal is a reading of 50 Shades of Grey which I totally don’t regret doing. Nope, not at all.It totally isn’t cringe-inducing for me to hear the recording (Please note my sarcasm).Secondly, the reading was done in September, so my mic used for the reading is the older one I had, and of lower quality, when compared to the beginning and ending parts which were recently recorded with my newer mic.If you need to pick what sounds closest to my normal speaking voice, I recommend picking the beginning and end parts.Thirdly! The video is completely SFW (Safe for Work), but, given what I’m reading, it is a tad suggestive. Just a little, so keep that in mind.And, all that wait brings us to the video:I hope you all enjoyed! What does your voice sound like?
Well...I'm sick right now, but usually it sounds a bit boyish...like on the phone I sound like a gay guy whose voice isn't completely gay...if that makes sense. How can I hear how my real voice sounds like ?
Hey there. Even though you might not like the answer, when you play back a recording of you talking or singing, that is how you sound to the world. I think my voice sounds weird too when I hear it played back to me. Another trick you might try is to cup your hands behind your ears and talk or sing. Doing so catches much more of the external sound waves produced from your voice. Try it. You will hear the difference. You can also try it in the shower facing the wall. Have your hands cupped over your ears, like I said, and speak or sing. The sound waves will be reflected directly back to you and your hands will again act as a sort of extension to the ear to catch more. :-) Hope this helps in some way.
My voice sounds like I am talking through a fan?
I am a 15 year old girl. My voice is very muddled, and when I read aloud or speak for long periods of time, my voice gets gravelly and it sounds like someone who is talking through a fan. Is this a puberty thing? I was colicky as a baby; my mom said that I consistently screamed for my first 3 months as a baby. Is there anything I can do to make my voice sound clearer? It wasn't like this when I was younger.

lol! Bless you! Don't worry- I know you probably hear it a lot, but when your voice is ready to break, it will. Im almost 17 year old girl and still as flat as pancakes. so be thankful that you can garantee that your voicke WILL break eventually. ;P When people in my school commented on it, I just made a joke out if it and laughed along. You could try doing that, so if they say: 'mate, you sound like a girl'., simply say something like: 'I know. Jelous? ;P' lol! I know it sounds ridiculous, but don't let it bother you much. Worst case scenario, if they're not people you get along with, then just say: 'well, tecnically, your the wierd one since your voice has suddenly gotten deeper...you kinda sould like a talking rock...' .ect.ect (what ever floats your boat.) If you can, then just brush them off. We all develop at different stages, so just try to keep you head high! Good luck and hope this helps! :D
Why is my voice deeper than it sounds to me?
As the other two have said, the voice you hear sounds different to you because you hear it through reverberations in your skull. The weird thing is you’re actually the opposite of most people - this effect makes their voice sound deeper to them than it does to other people.It could be that you’re just not a very accurate judge of voice depth.
