How Often Do You Think Rednecks Take Off They

Do my neighbors think I am a redneck?

If the truck you are sitting on is a running truck, registered and all, and you can drive it, then you are just country.

Now if the truck is a junker and can't be driven, then you are definately a redneck.

One other factor that comes into play is the type beer you are drinking. Bud, Bud-Lite, or Miller Lite, you know, the more expensive stuff is reserved for the richer folks. They usually have the wheel off their trailors and it's underpinned. Now Milwalkees Best or Pabst is more for rednecks. They usually can't afford underpinning on their trailors either.

Type and number of dogs is also a factor. So you need to provide additional information!!

When can I have an appointment Doc?

Why do people think all of texans are rednecks?

I agree, I hate the Texan stereotype. We do NOT all ride horses, we are not all cowboys, we do not all say "howdy"....argh I could go on forever, but I won't.

I just hate how when I say I'm from Texas so many people (especially here on Y!Answers) say or think that I'm stupid, uneducated or ignorant. I hate how I'm constantly stereotyped. It makes me so angry sometimes.

Furthermore, I live in Houston, I have never ridden a horse, and am about as far away from being a country girl as someone who's lived in L.A. their whole life.

Edit: and for LB, I have lived in other states besides Texas. Out of all the places I've lived or traveled to, Texas has been one of the most welcoming, kindest states. And just like EVERY OTHER STATE, there are people with minimal intelligence in Texas, but NOT everyone; if you think that people in Texas are dumb, then I guess you are just close-minded and ignorant.

Why do rednecks think everyone should have a gun?

Well I'm not a redneck and think everyone should have a gun. More times than not I find that gun control actually kills people.

I don't see whats so bad about hunting. Maybe you live in a big city, but when deers start scaring your kids and bears start breaking into your house looking for food, a tazer won't stop them and bear spray is a joke. No drive is stronger for an animal than that for food.

If guns aren't necessary, then no one should have them, not the army, or police, or the government.

You have no right to tell other people what to eat. I don't like vegetables and am allegric to most of the ones that give protein like soy and beans. I know a vegetarian well and they have to take supplements as their diet starts to hurt them when they get older.

You can't use marijuana to defend your life from an angry bear.

It is strict gun laws that cause the shooting at virgina tech. Every place in virgina you can carry a gun except on campus. Had everyone in that class had a gun cho would have gut F-uped and would have just sat home and cried. The whole class would pull out guns and he would **** his pants. How much people do a massacre at a police station or a shooting range or a gun show? None or very very very very few, you know why, because no one, not even the suicidal criminals want to get shot by a bunch of people. You know why cho shot up virginia tech, because if he had gone to a supermarket or police station or public library people would have pulled out guns and shot him DEAD.

Criminals are scared of getting shot by normal people defending themselves. The only time they get scared of police is when the cops start shooting. This is why cho shot himself, because he wanted to kil himself, he didn't want no one to shoot him

ps people should have guns to defend thesemlesves from violent criminals, especially those of us who live in rural areas that have 5 police for 1000 people. Often the police don't come for 45 minutes to 2 hours. A cop just can't run off a traffic stop if they think they have pulled over a run away murderer.

Many people believe that an average man thinks about sex every seven seconds in a given day. However, if you were to do the math, that translates to having 514 sexual thoughts and hours and 7,200 sexual thoughts over the course of a week,Well, we’ll refer to two studies in particular that come closest to finding the right answer to this pertinent question. So, let’s try and find out if guys think a lot about sex and how often do they think about it. Take a look:

Why do teenagers think being "country or redneck" is cool?

First of all, as a Southerner, and a "country person", in my area of the South, being called a "redneck" is an insult. It means, "White trash". People don't take kindly to being called that. Now, if you say that someone is a country boy, or girl, that's different. We do wear clothing that's considered "country", such as jeans, boots, flannel shirts, even in some cases, Carhartt, if you can afford them. But the clothes don't make the person, it's who is inside. We wear tough clothing because we work outside in all kinds of weather, and we need clothing that will also hold up. We can't afford to go wearing $100 Nike shoes and things like that. They'll wear out quick here. I imagine clothing does show what kind of lifestyle you live, but it surely doesn't make you who you are.

I think television has a lot to do with how people, especially country people are perceived by others. Most of the television programs showing "typical rednecks" are actually made by Yankees, and non-country people. They have some warped imagination, and think we're backwards, crude people, and we're not. In reality, country people are very family oriented, go to church, are very patriotic, and very traditional. We live on very little in life, and we're mostly poor folks who can't afford $40,000 pickup trucks. Yes, we love our guns, they're a tool, like a shovel.

As for the Confederate flag......Northern folks, and Hollywood folks have demonized that flag terribly without ever knowing the history behind it. History is not taught in schools anymore, it seems. The South is associated with slavery, but little do people know that less than 10% of the soldiers who ever fought for the Confederacy ever owned a slave. The flag is a national identity. It is something Southerners take pride in, and rally around. Just like black folks have their pride in themselves, and Yankee folks have pride in themselves.....why should Southerners be any different and be forced to be ashamed of who they are? I will never be ashamed. I'm proud to be Southern, and country folk.

These kids in "Illinois" are just playing pretend. They don't know any better. They know what they see on TV, or hear on the radio. Most of them never put an hours work on a farm in their lives. Maybe they need to........to pay for those $40,000 trucks Mama and Daddy let them drive, ya think?

Who thinks Yahoo Answers should make a Redneck Category?

i'm a redneck and proud of it. everyone makes fun of the rednecks, but if it came down to the protection of this country all of you would be relying on us rednecks with the beer, the guns, and the pickups. we stand together, family is important, we were raised working hard, we trust God, we believe in the red, white, and blue, and we will fight for what we believe in.

i love the idea of the URA. lets just take over the state of texas :) (without the bush clan of course, they arent rednecks, washington can have them and all those high falootin people in dallas, houston, and austin wearing the suits)

GO REDNECKS! YEEHAW!

Some redneck jokes!!?

two rednecks decided that they weren't going anywhere in life and thought they should go to college to get ahead.
The first went in to see the counselor, who told him to take math, history, and logic.
What's logic?" the first redneck asked.

The professor answered, "Let me give you an example. Do you own a weed eater?"

"I sure do."

"Then I can assume, using logic, that you have a yard," replied the professor.

"That's real good!" said the redneck.

The professor continued, "Logic will also tell me that since you have a yard, you also own a house."

Impressed, the redneck said, "Amazing!"

"And since you own a house, logic dictates that you have a wife."

"That's Betty Mae! This is incredible!"

The redneck was catching on.

"Finally, since you have a wife, logically I can assume that you are heterosexual," said the professor.

"You're absolutely right! Why that's the most fascinating' thing I ever heard! I can’t wait to take that logic class!"

The redneck, proud of the new world opening up to him, walked back into the hallway where his friend was still waiting.

"So what classes are ya takin'?" asked the friend.

"Math, history, and logic!" replied the first redneck.

"What in tar nation is logic?" asked his friend.

"Let me give you an example. Do ya own a weed eater?" asked the first redneck.

"No," his friend replied.

"You're queer, ain't ya?"

How would you reacet if rednecks take over USA?

I wouldn't like their country music, but otherwise I could deal with it because I know if rednecks take over, so will the republicans, and I'm so anti democrat that Id rather have rednecks ruling the world then a stupid black democrat in office, all he cares about is blacks...all rednecks care about is whites so that means I would be immediately classified as the elite again which I would be just fine with.

How do you know if you're a redneck?

you might be a redneck if...

- you go to the family reunion looking to meet women.

- your family tree does not fork

- you wear a strapless dress with a bra that isn't

- someone asks to see your ID and you show them your belt buckle

- your dog passes gas and you claim it

- you cut the grass and find more than 3 cars

- people come over daily thinking that you're having a yard sale

Why are rednecks proud of their stupidity?

We're not, why are city slickers so proud of their ignorance? Just because I'm a redneck doesn't mean I'm stupid quite the contrary actually, I play piano, read almost all day, I actually read the dictionary in about 3 days my GPA is a 4.0. It also doesn't mean I'm racist, I have a black aunt by marriage but nevertheless she's kin. I personally grew up south of the Mason Dixon line, I'm from southern Virginia but just because someone doesn't grow up south of it doesn't mean **** boy, country is country wide, its how you're brought up, we have morals, work hard, forgive and forget, don't take **** from anyone, be proud of who you are where you're from, treat other's with respect, love god and your country. I'm a southern redneck born and bred and I sure as hell am damn proud about that. You sir are an arrogant son of a *****, I'm sorry but that's what you are. Not all rednecks are stupid or racist or anything like that. Maybe it's not us that's stupid and ignorant maybe it's y'all.
