How Often Do You Use The N Word

Which word is more offensive out of the 'n word' or 'c word'?

As in the word used for african americans or the word used for female genitals (but i have never actually heard anyone use it in that way).
Me and my friend can't agree.
I think the c word is disgusting and sounds vile coming out of anyone's mouth.
But I don't use the n word in a bad way I'm just not black so I shouldn't. But he gets super offended by it even though he is not black either.
What do you think?

How often do white people use the N word behind closed doors?

Honestly, the only time I can remember that word being said aloud was when my mom was reading "Little House in the Big Woods" aloud and then told us that it was a bad word people used to use. It's odd, when we were told not to use the f-word we couldn't wait to secretly use it, but the n-word never came up. It's never seemed right, not even for a frisson of transgression. I can't say that I can remember anyone using it to call someone by, but maybe I give off a vibe of not being the right audience?

Can Drakes mom use the N-Word?

Drakes mother is white and his father is black. And drake uses the N-word in his songs very often. Can his mother sing his songs with the N-word or does she have to avoid it like all non black people?

If she does, is it still racism? If so explain how.

Thank you.

So now other races are allowed to use the N word?

What is going on? I always knew white people weren't allowed to use the N word becasue we invented it and the whole slave thing went down and then there was segregation and for the most part we respect the unwritten rule of never uttering such a harmful word.

I've noticed that many other races use the N word in the same respect black people use it. Asian, Indians, Hispanics pretty much any "minority" is using this term as often and in as many ways as blacks.

Why are other minorities allowed to use it when they haven't faced anything close to the type of persecution black received?

Is it becasue they are considered to be in the same socio- economic class as black people?

What about white races that werent in American at the time of slavery, can they use the N word? How about Jews, Italians, irish, british, australians?

If any of them i would think Jews should get a N word pass to use the N word before Hispanics, Asians and Indians use it. Jews have been persecuted through-out history and some would say jews have suffered equally if not more than blacks. Plus Jews weren't slave owners and really werent even in America at that time period.

So whats up?

Is the N word used frequently around you or have you ever been the victim of discrimination?

Well, I have been discrminiated against and racially profiled. I am a militray wife and been just about every where and because of my fair skin I have been assumed to be Everything but, black. Because they say I "sound" white. Many people are under the assumption that all black people are "brown skinned". NOT TRUE. we come in different shades. I am mixed with Seminole Indian, African American, German and Irish. Despite of my many mixed nationalities I am abdominatly "Black". But, it's ashame to see that people still use the "N" word even within the black community. But, as soon as a person of a different race says it, it's offending. So, why call eachother that. It is a sticky discussion and can go on for years to come.

In which countries is the use of N word socially appropriate?

In Brazil, in most of situations, the word "negro" is not considered as something inherently offensive. It is often replaced by "Afro-descendente" or "Afro-Brasileiro" (Afro-descendant, or African Brazilian) as these terms have been long promoted by media and government since racism was officialy recognised as crime, but the word "negro" is still more prevailent in popular vocabulary, and also as a term of self-affirmation. Depending on the context, when it is said by a white person, the public use of this word can, indeed, be considered as offensive. In other hand, the word "preto" (which in a normal context of the Portuguese language would make reference to the colour "black") is utterly racist, since it was the word used by white Brazilians to refer to their slaves, as goods not as people. However, this p-word is surprinsingly yet used in Brazilian census, to describe a person of full or dominant African ancestry. So, yes, yet in 21th century, our "racial democracy" is still make official use of a racist term to define the ethnicity of nearly 15 million Brazilians (8% of the population).

Minorities using the N-Word?

Same here.
I'm Indian and I never say the n-word, lol. But I live in LA so if I did say it, people wouldn't think twice.
