Sorry folks. A few years ago my tiny 18 or 19 year old parked her car in front of our local chain pharmacy and got some feminine supplies, chocolate and a bottle of flintstones vitamins. She had a store discount card AND her college ID and her license. The cashier would NOT believe her and didn’t allow the vitamin purchaseNeedless to say, mom had to stomp in and speak to management, not to mygo get her purchase from the supermarket across the parking lotThere are drugs that should be restricted; in some states anything with pseudoephedrine is signifier at the pharmacy; too bad nobody actually reads the memos

In the uk you have to be 16 to buy any over the counter medicines, unless the age restriction for that medicine is 18. As far as i know it is 16. Some medication to help sleeping is only available on prescription, and is usually recommended as it is monitored by a doctor or gp. you can buy things like Nytol over the counter (diphenhydramine) but very little else. A lot of healthcare professionals will prefer to give special doses and individual medication for each person. In short, prescribed=off the doctor Over the counter= ones that can be bought yourself. Although if you decide to go down the route of buying them do check the age on them first

u can buy it if u have money and a way to get there. theres no law about how old u have 2 be 2 buy advil but super glue ? thats messed up i live in illinois 2 and i havent tried buying super glue /wout a parental sooooooooo i think thats weird hehe. but ya im pretty sure u can buy advil w/out a parental

No. Isn't it nice when people give you an answer instead of lecturing you? Tylenol PM ect. have a mild sleeping aid in them, and work relatively well for most people. You can also try taking a melatonin supplement (vitamins section) Melatonin is the chemical your brain produces which makes you sleepy. Just make sure to read the labels and always take correct dosage.

EXCEPT: -- Any pseudoephedrine product -- The kind adults over 18 can sign for at the pharmacy counter, but under 18 still cannot buy them -- Any nicotine product -- includes nicotine gum, lozenges (that dissolve in your mouth), nicotine patches, e Cigs, etc. and similar products. Must wait until 18 or whenever it is legal to buy cigarettes in your state.
