How old do I look(pics included)?

I was thinking to buy an old camera, can I still do good pictures with that?

From a price perspective at about $20 USD. This looks like a good buy. There are several considerations about this and any used camera; is it in good working order. The Retina has a bellows which over time can deteriorate and begin to develop holes. Light leaks will affect the quality of your pictures and in the worst case completely destroy them. This camera like all cameras with mechanical parts needs to be checked for accuracy. Shutters are actuated by springs which over time can go out of calibration.Okay, that is the bad news. Don't let that deter you. Exploring the world of analog photography can be and is a rewarding experience. Hunting for a quality analog camera can be fun and you will learn alot.Don't let the nay sayers throw ‘digital is better' in your face. This is a myopic and frankly ignorant reason not to explore another aspect of photography. Easier and cheaper is not always better.Good luck, have fun.

How do you feel about your old pictures?

I used to have a ton of old pictures on Facebook and stored on a flash drive from the early 00s, and I had a bunch from the mid 00s on there as well and stored on my iPod Touch.Nowadays, the only old pictures I have of myself are the ones my parents took and the ones from the early 00s. My brother wiped a ton of data so I lost the pictures I found decent from me in middle school, but also I hated myself so much and was constantly bullied on Facebook so I ended up deleting it and all of my pictures that were stored on there.I look back at some of my middle school pictures I still have and realize I wasn’t that bad and I wish I had kept all those old photos. A lot of the stuff I wore was pretty mismatched but it wasn’t that bad, I’m just glad I wasn’t one of those 9 or 13 year olds wearing a visible thong that their crazy hippie mom bought for them.

What's the best picture taken of you and why do you think it's the best?

Mind the poor quality. Nonetheless, this is one of the many best photographs taken of    me. I did mention one of the many but, this was the only one that was taken without me knowing, there were no "Is the lighting alright?" "Am I smiling too much?" or "Angle on point" I love the photograph so much, not probably because it's MY best but, the way it captured the genuine love and affection in the dog's eyes. A little walk down the memory lane wouldn't hurt. It was taken in my University where I had to leave home and face the world on my own. Like what everyone else faced, nothing new just the same old home sick, pain, back stabbing, meeting selfish people, fake friends, yearning to be loved, feeling lonely and than I met this guy. She was stray a dog. I soon discovered a soft spot for her within me and we grew to become real close. She's always there accompanying me through late night strolls around the campus. It was comforting to know that you could trust someone in that super competitive University world where everyone was just trying to outrun you Till one day, the management had gotten rid of her. That too in the most atrocious way possible. The dog catchers had flung chains around her neck and dragged her away from the campus. Tears run down my cheeks even now as I reminisce the last moments of her. Anyway, this picture holds so much love and genuineness that I doubt any other human could have. This picture was taken early in the morning before our hiking program, she hiked with us all the way to the top.

What ethnicity do you think I am? PICS INCLUDED?

I'm adopted, and my adoptive parents never found out what race I was. Thanks for letting me know of you thoughts.

What do you think of people who take pictures of food and post them on social media?

I take photos of food and post them on instagram. A lot to be exact. instagram.com/chaithanya008 - you check if you want.why? I live abroad far from my home India so I have to cook for myself whether I like it or not. There is considerable boredom I feel here because many times I have to cook alone and to make myself feel good and keep my day active I cook anything I feel like eating and once I am done with it voila!! I'm in so much in love with it that I see my food and see that every bit, every gram of food was cooked by me. I bought the vegetables, I cut them, I mixed them all the Indian spices and waited it to have that beautiful aroma of freshly cooked hot meal which was at the perfect time since I was very hungry. I want to remember this experience of cooking and having it by myself which in process kills my boredom and I'm filled with joy and love <3.Then I post to Instagram with all the hash tags not because of likes, I put hash tags to only the things which I felt like. Whatever was the most happiest experience I felt while cooking that particular meal, I would has tag that. ex: #parota again - because I wanted to try again to get it right round this time, #perfect - because I cook this often and I felt it was perfect this time, #student - coz one of the things only a student life can have etcAfter I post my photo of the food I just took I get couple of like not many and my friends from the community where I live ask me next time I meet them to invite them for dinner. And #Voilaa!! again  I send to my family group in India where my mom sees them feels so good that his son had good satisfying meal and sleeps happy that day.Whenever I feel lonely again I sometimes open the Instagram and look at all the photos of food and I relive those moments and think "I can open restaurant back in my country if I don't clear this exam! " ;) Now there is no  reason not to take photos and post them on social media for me and I love to see what other people are experiencing with food.
