I'm 13 and i want to start a yt channel , but is it too early? And i'm kinda petit so i might get bullied or lose all my friends . .theyll say i make stupid videos and hate on me but i wanna be a youtuber :(

I'm 14 in a few months and would like to start a youtube channel but I think at this age there is no way people would want to listen to a little 13 year old girl. I'm mature for my age as I have been told by my parents and old people I think more like an adult. I also been told by my friends and cousins i'm the most childish but i'm just acting. I don't want to start youtube now because of my age I think i'm going to have a gap year when i'm 19 and start then. I think this is a good age because it's after high school exams which is important and people will take you more seriously. Youtube is what I want to do with my life but I am going to do something else too maybe something with film or travel or journalism. So my plan is to try my best at everything in school then start youtube and go to uni. Anyway when do you think I should start a youtube channel or what is the best age thanks.

There is no real "best" age to start a youtube channel and do facecams and commentaries. when someone feels like doing those, he/she wants to explore the unknown. And it's also fun to do. The "internet community" can be the best, but they can also be very very harmfull. It's a risk doing these but only if you can't handle the hate

Im not sure if it would be too late to answer, but definitely start a channel!I started mine when I was 14, and had nothing besides Windows Movie Maker to edit, and Mobizen to record. When you start off early, you can probably meet some kids who have different abilities, which can help you get things you need. I have Sony Vegas Pro 14 because of one friend, and Bandicam from channel income.Here are a few tips though for starting out (Which im using):Upload consistently (1 vid a day, 1 a week, 1 every 2 weeks, 1 a month. It doesn’t matter as long as its consistent)Enjoy what your doing.Make videos 15 minutes or less (because people tend to have low patience. In other words, get straight to the point. Tell the viewer what you will be doing in the video, and then proceed to doing it)If you are NOT going to be talking, but doing captions instead, DONT USE WORDPAD, MEMOS OR ANYTHING ELSE TO TYPE ON during the video! It is super unprofessional and wastes the time of the viewer. Instead, go onto a basic video editor, like Movie Maker and insert a caption. Put it on the bottom of your video so that you are doing the activity while typing instead of doing one at a time.Make Funny videos. Who doesn’t like a good laugh?If your making a video, make sure that someone else hasn’t covered the topic your doing. The more videos in that topic the harder the competition.Don’t forget to make an Adsense account to make money off your videos.

Good age to start making YouTube videos?
Ok, so I'm 14 years old and I just got into YouTube about 3 or 4 months ago. I REALLY like KYR SP33DY and VanossGaming. I want to make a YouTube channel similar to theirs like making funtages and montages. My voice is pretty deep and I'm very mature so people probably aren't going to think I'm 14. I also know a lot about Photoshop and Video Editing and I already made a intro and outro for my channel so that isn't a problem. The only problem I would have with making a YouTube videos is that I play sports and have school. I play baseball and football so I would upload mostly during the Winter. I just don't know if I should get into this at this young age or wait, and I just want an opinion. Thanks!!! P.S. I have recording equipment such as a microphone and capture card that would make high quality videos so that's not a problem either. :)

You can start at any point of your age. I started my YouTube channel at the age of 32 , where else I am helping my Daughter to build her YouTube channel when she is only 5 years old.The only thing required is that you should have atleast 20 videos topics in your list on which you’re gonna create videos. It should not be like after you create a video, upload it and then sit idol and thinking of a new topic for your next video. Your channel will die.
