So im looking to go CID in the future. As of right now, I am active army. My MOS is infantry (11B).?
November 2010, I reenlisted as a MP (31B). I have a school date set for October, 2011 for MP. I have been interested in CID, I just didnt really ask about CID or spark much interest in it. My orignal plans, were to, go MP for a 4 year contract, get out (which at the end of my MP contract in 20ou14 I will be 30 years old), try to get hired on with a police department, Im working on my 4 year CJ degree now as we speak. I've heard SO many rumors with people saying "YES, MP is a good choice if you want to go police officer in th cilivian side" and then I hear some people "NO, MOST police departments want and look for more Infantry personal". I, myself, checked into it and called around. I was told by some PD's back home, up north, MP will help out huge. I was told by a 1SGT, who did my "security screen interview" that I'm making a good choice and I'm on the right track, which that 1sgt himself is National Guard MP and is a sgt with the NYPD. So, sorry kinda got off track. My question is: If, all goes well in the future for CID nd I get accteped into the program, what is the pay like? Does anyone know MOST of the positions in the Army CID field? Apperciate all the feedback...thanks much.

Right now I look goood!No chance of breaking the internet or nothin’ but I look good.You don’t even need proof, just take my word for it.I’m 10kg lighter than usual, but it’s too cold for me to show that.Most importantly though, I’m sort of clean shaven!I hate going to the barbers. In 3 out of 5 times I’ve left after 15 minutes! Waiting for my turn, just to get to sit in a chair that gets me nodding off as they take another 45 minutes to just shave my rather small head. Their are 13 cats and 7 dogs and they re all living in the house I am 20 and currently live with my parents moving out isn t the best option financially right now and for our goals but my boyfriend is concerned that with all these animals when we have our baby they could get sick. I have not personally been sick or bothered by any of the animals my whole life. And my sisters baby has not been bothered when she stayed for a week or so ago and a time . What do you guys think is it safe for baby s to be around this many animals ?

Upload your resume to all the job sites, keep applying.In addition to all the above, there are certain good things about your present situation which I wish to invite your attention.You have all the time in this world to prepare a justification as to why you have scored less or more in certain engineering subjects.A typical mechanical Engineering Manager will ask you about your favorite engineering subject, why it is your favorite? What are the books you have read on the subject? who is the author? Why do you like this book/ author? NOW is the time to prepare for this.Note that your interview is going to be different than the normal campus interview. You now have the time to prepare for it.Study for competitive examinations, there are some for engineers also.Learn a design software. even if you do not wish to work in design. It will improve your product conceptualization.Teach engineering subjects to others; you too will learn by doing that.If you get to work in a small or micro industry, do that, not for earning; for learning. Don’t quote that in the resume.Many construction and other engineering companies required maintenance engineers . look for such vacancies.Look for suppliers of maintenance spares, they are in constant touch with engineering companies.
