How Should I Do My Hair And Makeup For Prom

How should I do my hair and makeup for prom?

This is my dress in black: http://www.newyorkdress.com/Sherri_Hill/...

And this is what I was thinking for makeup, would it look good?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=abJ5iTXBw...
Or I could just do a regular smokey eye with false lashes because I feel like my makeup has to be bold, just as my dress is. Like this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NY76dwTLF...

But for my hair, I have no idea. I have strawberry blonde hair that already goes inches past my shoulders, and extensions that go past my chest for a little extra length and thickness. I also hate wearing my hair up, but I suppose I could if you strongly suggest it.

I have long dark blond hair that has golden highlights in it and it is layered. my natural hair is wavy. I really want to do a long-curly hair look, but I was trying to consider some other options as well, any ideas? my dress is a long, turquoise/bright blue strapless dress. I have an olive skin tone, and i was wondering should i wear eye makeup thats the same color os my dress? or stick to neutrals or black.. i pretty know nothing about makeup as i usually only wear mascara, so any advice is really appreciated! :) and pics are also appreciated :)

If my prom is at 8, what time should i make my hair and makeup appointments?

I'm nervous that if i get my makeup and hair done before it will wear down and my hair will frizz out.
Im going to the mall which is approx 30 mins away from my house. My makeup done at mac and i don't know where to go for my hair yet. But around what time should i make both appointments?

First: That dress is beautiful.Second: The hair could be arranged so that it’s all to one side. It’s simple and elegant. It would just need volume that could easily be done with some teasing of the hair. Try to give your hair some curls by doing it yourself at home (curling iron) or go to a beauty salon.Third: The makeup. The eyes shouldn’t have too much eyeshadow since the color of the lipstick should be the main focus point of your face. You could try putting on a dark liquid lipstick, could either be burgundy or a fiery red.Good luck darling!

For my prom should i do my hair or makeup first?

Hair first.
Your hair will last longer than your make-up.
And if you're worried your fringe will get in the way, you can always comb it down with a little wax or putty after you finish your make-up.

Should I do my hair or makeup first for prom?

My prom is tonight and I'm doing my hair by myself. The prom itself is at 7pm so I need to leave about 6.50pm. My make up is booked for 5pm. I don't know if I should do my hair or makeup first!!!

Do you have any ideas for prom makeup?

That makeup is extremely heavy, something only celebrities could get away with. The brows, eyes, contour, and lips are all bold. It's important that with makeup you draw attention to a feature such as your eyes or lips.If you want to emphasize your eyes then tone down the lips and brows,The brows are completely filled in for boldness and symmetry, the eyes and lips are kept neutral.Notice how the makeup is made to draw your attention to one feature? The brows are filled lightly to give symmetry and fill in gaps. The lips are kept neutral and the eye makeup is heavy as it's the main feature.Emma Watson perfectly executed a bold lip perfectly. Light Smokey eye with an eyeliner flick and soft brows.I also didn't talk about contour much but only because I believe that any Contour and highlighting, no matter how heavy, will always compliment the emphasized feature.

How should I do my hair and makeup for my formal?

Hi, you can do your makeup by doing smoky eyes and deep eyeliner. Go hard on the highlighter and do contour well. It depends on your face if you want to do contouring on your nose and sculpt your face or not. Since the dress is indigo, you can rock it with your eyes mostly and make your cheeks glowy. Don’t forget mascara and kajal beneath the lower lashline. I think nude lipstick would look good. But slightly pinkish ones or coral colors would look nice too.And hair, if your dress has a lower back, then you can leave it open. If it has high neck you can perhaps tie it into a bun.p.s I wish I could show you a hairstyle that sort of just came in my mind but I don’t really have a youtube channel right now. It’s more like you do a braid at the front of your hair and it goes like a hairband from one side of the ear to the other. And you leave it curled/wavy at the bottom of your hair.
