Makeup for Prom????
what I would do is go to one of your gal friend who wears make-up on a regular basis (well i might add) and ask her to help you get your make-up ready for prom. But if you don't have any friends that wear make-up I would just put a nutreal color eye shadow on just something or a light shimmer. and a little bit of eye liner and mascara. and if you want something on your lips try a "nude color" lip stick or lip gloss. this way your wearing make-up but its more of a natural look. And if you need to wear cover up, but since you don't usually wear make-up you probably don't need it. but if you do make sure you get one that is the right color for you! (try cover girls true blend) -but yes wear a lil bit of make-up its a special occassion why not? right? -coverup=about 8-12$ for cover girl (good brand) -eye liner= you can get eye liner for about 1 or 2$ -eye shadow= about 3 dollars its really not that much money for make-up thats actually cheap for make-up. I'm asian to.....like I said if this is your first time using make-up just keep it natural and light ur nutral colors. but if you don't want to do something bold I suggest a gold eye shadow. Pretty dress, girl! Purple seems good for you. I would try to see if you can get your makeup professionally done. (A lot of girls do this for prom.) I would maybe do a dark, coppery look to go with the design on your dress. You don't want to go with purple because that will be too much and overwhelming. Where should i get my makeup done for prom?
If you want to look your best with the most up to date look....you should go to a MAC counter and get your makeup done, don't do it your self because chances are you have the same old colors and techniques that you always use, and if your going to go buy new make up you are going to spend 40-50$ Well you don't have to pay to have your makeup done at the MAC counter but you do have to have a make a minimum purchase of 45$ which is like your lip gloss and powder that way you can touch up your look at prom. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT! Also I use to work for them and they have some serious sanitary rules and regulations, nothing will touch you that has not been sanitized properly!

But for my hair, I have no idea. I have strawberry blonde hair that already goes inches past my shoulders, and extensions that go past my chest for a little extra length and thickness. I also hate wearing my hair up, but I suppose I could if you strongly suggest it.

I have long dark blond hair that has golden highlights in it and it is layered. my natural hair is wavy. I really want to do a long-curly hair look, but I was trying to consider some other options as well, any ideas? my dress is a long, turquoise/bright blue strapless dress. I have an olive skin tone, and i was wondering should i wear eye makeup thats the same color os my dress? or stick to neutrals or black.. i pretty know nothing about makeup as i usually only wear mascara, so any advice is really appreciated! :) and pics are also appreciated :)

Do I have to wear a lot of makeup to prom?
No, of course not! Be yourself, but slightly elevated. You'll want to look nice in photos, and that's really the trick to your makeup for the night. You'll want to even out your skin tone with some foundation and concealer, unless you have perfect skin. Skip anything with SPF, and any powder based products that look white in the container, because they will flash back white in photos. Also, photos can wash you out. I'm nervous that if i get my makeup and hair done before it will wear down and my hair will frizz out. Im going to the mall which is approx 30 mins away from my house. My makeup done at mac and i don't know where to go for my hair yet. But around what time should i make both appointments?
