How Should You Treat A Person Who Refuses To Help You At An Important Cause Of Yours

Can I refuse cancer treatment?

yes. you can always refuse treatment. tell your doctor and you will sign a paper saying basically "im going against what my dr. is suggesting and no one will sue him/her because of it." my aunt did that. she didn't want to face treatment. your dr. may get upset, but you definitely have the right to refuse cancer treatment.

i suggest reading these articles though.

good luck!

WHAT SHOULD I DO IF A VICTIM REFUSES FIRST AID HELP?

Nothing, a person has the right to refuse treatment, except in a few specific circumstances, otherwise it is an assault.

How do you deal/argue with people who refuse to respond to reason, logic and facts?

Try emotion. For most of human evolutionary history, the ability to respond to emotion has been a much more useful evolutionary advantage than the ability to respond to data or facts, which are pretty recent in evolutionary terms. Emotions precede even language.Of course, the bedrock of a modern functioning society should ideally be rational public discourse devoid of any appeal to emotion but hey, natural selection couldn’t care less about any of that. There are tons of evidence that suggests that human decision-making is primarily emotional. The decisions can range from choosing what to eat[1] to even voting in elections.[2]So, to convince someone, you don’t just throw facts at them but also supplement them with emotional anecdotes. You follow up “Rigorous peer-reviewed research has conclusively found no causal relationship between vaccination and autism” with a story of a poor couple’s only child who succumbed to pneumonia because she wasn’t vaccinated, and talk about how the couple regrets not doing so.The key word here is supplement. One won’t do without the other. Facts don’t evoke emotion but anecdotes do, and we internally justify those emotions using facts. According to British psychologist Rob Yeung, fear, shame and pride are very persuasive emotions.[3]Sometimes, it helps to think of ourselves as just apes with an internet connection.Footnotes[1] http://people.hss.caltech.edu/~s...[2] Voting is irrational. Can you snort pure essential oils to treat depression?

Not to get high, but to immediately calm the feelings of severe depression?

I feel so depressed, I don't have the energy to do anything. Deep breathing and exercising doesn't work for me. I just wonder if deeply breathing (practically snorting) something strong like lavender or lemon essential oil would be helpful and safe to do?

I refuse to take medications and want to try something as natural as possible that will be just as effective if not better than anti-depressants.

Why do cancer patients refuse chemotherapy?

CANCER IS NOT A AILMENT, IT IS A PROCESS!!! Over a lifetime, billions upon billions of cells are produced, die or are killed off by our immune systems. Whether or not you develop cancer depends on your genetic succeptabilty to deviation of normal cell growth and your environmental exposure to carcinogens!!!

Current allopathic cancer treatements are carcinogenic in and of themselves. Research Rene Caisse (a Canadian Nurse's research and Essiac).

Now to your question ... many cancer patients subconsciously recognize that they are unwilling to fight, or understand that their health is beyond repair.

For those who are young or middle-aged, we should help them fight the good fight whenever possible. For the very aged, it is their fight, to decide to battle or not.

In the determination; it is essential to seek the advice of both western and eastern doctors, and honestly assess the probability of defeating the spread of cancer.

With regard to the terminally ill, who do not desire to battle the 'cancer beast', well if they're of sound mind, it should be their decision, not ours!

Wholistic Health alternatives offer AMAZING ALTERNATIVES to chemo and radiation. But, the decision, ultimately, must lie to the patient.

Although it is beyond heart-wrenching to lose a loved-one, we must honor their wishes.

One last VERY IMPORTANT NOTE - put your wishes in writing, so that you don't end up like Terri Schiavo.

Do I have the right to refuse a blood test? 10 points to best answer?

I'm sixteen and I suffer from depression and anxiety. My anxiety goes through the roof when I have to go to the doctors office, and I had to go to a physical a few weeks ago. I went to the physical, and the doctor stared talking about my height and weight and how it looked fine, but I hadn't been weighed during the visit. I didn't mentioned that I hadn't been weighed because I was too anxious being there already. Anyway, because of my issues with anxiety and depression, my doctor wants me to have a blood test. We talked about how I don't sleep, but that is because I like to stay up because when my family is awake during the day I'm very stressed. I have gained some weight but that's because I stay at home and stress-eat. That's only because of the fact that I have been having trouble in school.

I know that a lot of my issues COULD be traced to a thyroid problem, but the things like not sleeping and gaining weight are my problem. I have severe anxiety in doctors offices and I don't think that getting a blood test done will benefit in any way, especially since I refuse all medications related to helping my mental health.

I told my dad that I wasn't going to go to get blood drawn, but this week they sent a letter saying that I had to get it done within the next week. The doctor kept telling me that I couldn't not get it done but I don't believe that.

Do I have the right to refuse to go? What if my parents drive me there without me knowing, can I still refuse once I'm there? Please don't try to convince me that It will just help me, I won't be convinced.

Thank you for your time!
