What happens if I jailbreak my iPhone?
Generally, I consider Jailbreaking as opening the door to awesomeness and uncertainty.Firstly once you jailbreak, you void your warranty. However, at time of Apple store visit, just delete the jailbreak apps and simply restore it and nobody will get to know about it and you'll have your warranty back. The only thing is that you may not able to jailbreak it soon as they might update your iPhone and you'll have to wait for the next Jailbreak in case it's not already arrived for that latest iOS.Secondly, your iPhone becomes a bit insecure but with proper use and handling you can avoid any potential threat or attack like by using, only trusted tweaks from trusted developers.Now, skipping all the general disclaimers & warnings here's whats in for you in a Jailbreak.No 1 for me is actual cache cleaner in the app named iCleaner Pro. Jailbreak for iPhone 4s has not been released nor has it been released for iOS 5 on iPad two. The a5 processor and ios5 have complicated things. However there are as much as 7 exploits in the works by chronic dev team. Keep an eye on chronic and iphone dev team blogs for updates. Happy cracking!!!!
Why is my jailbroken iPhone going to safe mode so often?
It's probably what Alex had said. Since Jailbreaking is somewhat of a common practice these days, its most likely not due to any sort of RAM restrictions as it barely makes a different on a "vanilla' Jailbroken phone. The rough of it comes to when you install packages that modify iOS and cause it to crash like that.This is 99% caused by a tweak that you had installed, as Alex had said. Now, if you are in a constant Loop, even when you are in SAFE MODE - this means that you will most likely need to Restore your phone and rejailbreak. But, if you can stay in Safe Mode, then get into Cydia, go over one by one and remove tweaks that you've installed. Be sure not to remove ones that were added automatically but anything that you know that you had installed. If you don't have it already, I would highest suggest Mobile Substrate Safe Mode (I think it may even be a default now) which allows you to hold down the Volume rocker (i think) when the phone turns on that basically disables all tweaks so that you're phone doesnt crash and you can go into Cydia and remove packages. I've had this happen myself on my iPad and sometimes if you even leave it at the "Crashed" screen, you can plug it into your computer, SSH into your phone with any available SSH client (I Use iFunbox) and then go into the Cydia Packages folder and just rename the files that are loading (each relates to a specific tweak that is installed) then restart the phone. If it was a Mobile Substrate tweak that was causing it to crash, that would resolve it.Be careful what you install as if you are the new iPhone 4s or iPad2, the New iPad, you won't be able to install 5.1.1 or lower anymore and will have to upgrade to the latest iOS6 which isnt available for a Jailbreak just yet.
