How To Add Context Menu On-click Of Option Menu

How can I add a context menu option for my MacOS Swift app?

The Retina display with Force Touch found on Apple Watch provides a new way to interact with content. Instead of just tapping items on the screen, pressing the screen with a small amount of force activates the context menu (if any) associated with the current interface controller. Context menus are optional, but provide an easy way to display actions related to the current screen. As the name suggests, they play the same role as the context menus in a macOS app. For example in macOS, Control-clicking on a text view presents options to Cut, Copy, or Paste text.

How to change function of Edit in Right-click context menu on Windows 7?

Hi...

Changing default program for "Edit" is not as simple as changing default that "opens" a given file type ..
It would require a registry hack...

Is there a way to add "find in page" to context in a menu right click on a Chrome browser?

I think what you are looking for already exists in Chrome. Just press ctrl+f and you can find whatever you want in the page.Edit: If you still want to add find in page option in a Chrome browser's context menu then you should write an extension which edits the context menu. Based on my preliminary research, you can use this API to write your extension and add it :chrome.contextMenus - Google ChromeOrYou can simply use this to create your own custom menu without the hassle of writing your own extension:Custom Right-Click MenuI hope this solves your problem.

In Win7 how to add 'Sort By - Date Modified' in the right click menu?

Any time I create a new folder and I put files in there and want to have them sorted by 'Date Modified' not by 'Date', there's a difference. So when I right click and go to 'Sort By' - there are 4 options, Name, Type, Size, Date usually, but there's no 'Date Modified'. To have 'Date Modified' for any folder I need to click on 'More...' and choose it from the big list of choices every time for each folder which is really annoying. Is there a way to have 'Date Modified' permanently in 'Sort by' so I don't have to choose it from 'More...' for each each folder? Thanks.

What is Ope/Close IME and Reconversion in my Notepad Context Menu ?

I have two options on the right-click (context) menu of any edit-able text field (such as the Address Bar, Run..., or Notepad). I do not know what created these options, nor do I know what they do. They take no noticable effect when I select them. They appear at the bottom of the menu (below the "Select All" option) in their own group (underneath a seperator). One option says "Open IME", and the other (just below it) says "Reconversion". The Reconversion option has never been available, that I have seen.

When I select the "Open IME" option, it changes to "Close IME" the next time I open the menu. But other than that, I see no effect. Can I remove this? I think I got it when I installed WinXP Pro.

What happened to the "new tab" option when you right-click on a tab in Firefox?

You can click on the + to the right of all of the tabs to open a new tab.  This is a lot easier than digging around in a context menu, which is presumably why they eliminated the menu option, to make the menu a little easier to use for other purposes.  There's also a key command you can use to open a new tab.  On OSX, it is command-t.  Even cooler, if you hit shift-command-t, it will reopen the most recently closed tab!  There's also a menu option for that under "history".

How can I create a contextual menu item with Automator that will allow me to right click an item and move it to a folder?

What you would need to do is create an Automator service:Open Automator and select Service:Make sure you tell the service to accept files or folders from Finder.Select Move Folder Item from the Files & Folders section of the Library, and set it to move the files to your Dropbox (or a subfolder in it).Save it with a name like "Move to Dropbox"Now you can control-click or right-click on any file, go to the Services submenu, and select your Move to Dropbox service.P.S. I love Hazel (I use it to automatically rename, encode and tag downloaded videos to iTunes format and then add them to iTunes, amongst other things), but I think a simple Automator service like this is much more appropriate for quickly dropping files into Dropbox.
