What kind of paint/makeup do you use for doing corpsepaint? ?
I have done face painting for lots of fairs and kids events and for someone who actually cares what the makeup looks like, I don't recommend it. I can be greasy and thick and feel like your skin is melting. My favorite black eyeliner is CoverGirl's Outlast eyeliner. Wash your face and draw the black outlines with it. You wont feel like your wearing a mask and that stuff lasts for HOURS. If you have the time and patience, use it to fill in the whole area that you want in black. I recomend more than one stick of that eyeliner if thats what you plan on doing. If you won't be sweating much, your in good shape. If you see stage shots of Dimmu Borgir and Mayhem, their makeup starts to run and get stuck in there hair the more they move. The less sweat, the better. Liquid black liner runs at the first drop of moisture. Your next best bet is to find professional theatre makeup online. Halloween makeup in a seasonal store won't last. Hope it helps! Rock on!

Should Black Goths wear Corpse Paint?
I am a light skinned black person. Not a dark one. Light brown is my color. I am goth but I think I would be a better looking goth if I did corpse paint (you know how goths paint themselves white? That is called corpse paint). Because all the black does not contrast as much with my light brown skin as it would if I were stark white. The girl in the picture is wearing lots of corpse paint. That is what corpse paint looks like. It will be a pain to apply every day but do you think its worth it to get the archetypal pale goth look?
Are there any black metal bands without corpse paint?
These days there are probably more without than there are bands with corpse paint. That trend has died off, and for good reason, it's retarded. In only a few cases does it enhance anything, that being Behemoth and Immortal who benefit from the look, but many bands have or should drop the paint to save face.
