I want to memorize a 500-page book. What approach can help?
Why would you want to memorise a book.But if you say so then use the divide and conquer approach.Divide it by chapter wise start with chunks of 2 -4-6-8-9 pages make small notes of it.start like 2 page read it then make notes for remainder of that page main events.Then in the evening revise these pages and try to do it with your frnd or sibling like both learn and make competition with each other.hope you will do it.It helps me when I try to remember my chemistry reactions . That helps me.hope work for you .If works plz let me know.and just due to curiosity why you want to memorise 500 pages books and which book.

ok so say x is the width of the rectangle and y is the length. the rectangles perimeter will be 2x+2y, therefor 2x+2y=68, dividing by two gives x+y=34. now the area is xy, so xy<=240 where <= means less than or equal to. we now have two equations, and the rest is simultaneous equations. rearange one of the equations so x or y is the subject: x+y=34 x=34-y, now substititute into the other equation: (34-y)y<=240, -y^2+34y<=240 where y^2 means y squared. times -1 to get y^2-34y>=-240 (the sing 'flips' if you times by -1) then add 240 to get y^2-34y+240>=0 this factorises to (y-10)(y-24)>=0 so y<=10 or y>=24. using xy=240 we can see if y<=10 x>=24 and if y>=24 x<=10, so are rectangle is <=10 by >=24, so the width must be 10 feet or less. In general with questions where you are unsure how to approach them, always try and write the question as equations.

I need serious help! i don't even know how to set it up to approach it! please help me out! It is known that the mass, m(t), of a radio-active substance decreases as it decays, and that the equation governing this is m'(t)=-0.015 m(t) where t is in years. What is the half-life? (Hint: Find an exponential function which solves the equation. You will then have a formula for the mass, so you can find the half-life.)
