How To Be Relax Under Pressure

How do I stay calm under-pressure?

focus, breathe, accept that its possible that you could mess up, but you're going to do you're best not to. don't stress about what "could" happen, bc anything can happen. just stay focused on your task and give it your all.

How to not stutter when under pressure?

Firstly have a written thing to say to all the questions an employer would ask.

I had a friend years ago who stuttered he had a speech pathologist teach him

how to relax and form the words.

His stuttering & another friend's stuttering was caused by anxiety.

So a couple of things you could try would be exercising more

because it reduces anxiety & if it is the cause of your stuttering

it could help like my two friends.

Stutterers can sometimes sing so that might be

a good thing to pursue in private for now.

The key thing is to simply relax let your thoughts drift with quiet music or ipod.

Hope I've been helpful what is above is my total knowledge of stuttering

so methods and remedies could change, and what causes you to stutter

may be different than in my two examples.

Food for thought though ?

Best Wishes.

When under pressure I cry and get very emotional. help!?

when under pressure, i cry and get very emotional. I want to kick some butt or say what i feel, but get very intimidated. I have never even hurt another persons feelings. In a work situation, I was suspended for 5 days for being blamed for saying something i did not say. (another girl was mad and she made up for it this way. I got the job she wanted) she signed a harassment derogatory comment claim and I was gone for 5 days with no pay, supervisors did not even ask me what happened. (i can write my feelings, but i have sooo much trouble saying it out without crying) I tried to tell them I did not say it and my blood pressure went through the roof and I passed out instead. I think i am being a target, because i don't know how to defend myself. I am 47 years old and this is now affecting my health. HELP!!

I want to ask a question about my blood pressure?

126/90 is actually a pretty good blood pressure. 140/90 is when you need to start worrying. Aging might cause a bit of an increase in your BP. Stress can cause it to raise also. You might see if someone (or yourself) can check it again once you've calmed down (like in the evening time, just before bed...) because you should be relaxing around bed time, then it might be a little lower, or even back down to its normal number.
The stress could cause an increased heart rate also. I looked in my nursing drug handbook and none of the side effects of propranolol were about increased BP or heart rate. Klonopin didn't have any of those side effects either. They were constipation, nausea, dizziness, behavioral changes...but no increased BP or heart rate, and definitely not tachycardia. Have you ever taken your heart rate? Just time it for 30 seconds and count until the time is up. Multiply it by 2 and that's your heart rate. Try this at a resting rate for a few days, and if it is continuously over 100 beats per minute, then maybe you should see a Dr. about getting some medicine to decrease your heart rate. Normal resting rate should be between 60 and 80... Hope some of this helps!
