At the outset you have to decide whether you will do it as a manufacturer or by procuring shoes from different manufacturers and putting your brand name.If you opt for the former you have to set up your own unit. It may involve procuring land and building factory shed, or you may opt for a hired one. You will have to go through all the licensing, registration , obtaining power etc required as per law. Next comes installing of machines and I would suggest you to go for modern machine lines for a better finish. Thereafter, it's hiring skilled and unskilled workers, white collars, procurement of materials and manufacturing. Before you do any of the above, make a thorough market study and plan your ad campaign.If you opt for the largest, your task is much easier. You may accept and procure products randomly or insist on their producing as per your design.Finance is key to both the format. If you are depending on your own finance, it's fine . Or else you have to open a credit line with Banks or financial institutions.

In this century everything easier than the past, because social media can easily make you or your brand famous with catching a good acceleration.Try to design different type of product, I mean unusual, and create social media accounts with your brand name, pay a few hundred dollars for ad campaigns, get fans and followers, create a few content for blogs and contact with the blog owners for publishing, not be too much hurry in this period, strong and slow steps make a strong and natural grow for your new brand.Also, try to create some competition on your social media accounts in returns with sharing your pages with their friends etc.You will be glad when you see the results, I am sure you can be success easily if you really want this.Good luck ;)Olivia

You would need awesome time management skills as well as the help of a few people. However, to make it successful you would need dedication as well as a wonderful plan to move ahead.also, if your Business plan n vision are worth it, you can look up for some funding which help you in taking care of your personal expenses as well if you quit your job but remember: the key is the plan , it's worth n your vision.BTW Best of Luck.

First of all who will your buyers and are you targeting kids, adults, youths, men, women or both? When starting in business online, you need to have a clear picture and it is best to specialize from the start before you ever try and expand.
How do I get my own custom shoes made for me?
Shoe company's have build your own options on their websites, but they are not going to make you a "custom" shoe. They will have limited options and colors in thing to choose from. Sounds to me like you are trying to make a one of a kind, never seen before shoe. I have to say that in my mind the shoe you want is going to be impossible to make. Air Jordan, Nike, Adidas, etc. have patented parts that can not be used to make other shoes. You can not just throw a ram air ( or any other) system on a shoe. It is possible that in the factories that Make Nike, Adidas, etc shoes over in China they have knock-off parts that they could use. If you went to China I would think that you could get someone to make that for you for real cheap. Here in the United States they would charge us Americans about $10,000 and call it a production sample. Even then the factories in China are backed up. When the bad economy hit many of them went out of business. Now that things are picking up the workers are not going back to work. It is ugly over there right now.
