How To Book Cheap Travel To Mykonos From Boston

Where have you traveled to?

Travel does to the mind what exercise does to the body – it makes people healthier and happier. However, the routines of life are such that not everyone has a lot of time to travel, people are busy in their monotonous routines and there isn’t enough time available for one to make it to the travel diary. On most occasions I have been asked where is it I have traveled to and I have many on list, but my personal favorite of all time is Orlando. Here’s why –Orlando is one of the world’s most visited family destinations, and while its illustrious themed attractions may steal the limelight, with a vibrant and well-kept city center and a climate that averages around 75° Fahrenheit (25° Celsius), there is a surprising amount of things to experience here.Orlando has everything – it is a life that gives you everything to experience in full form – the joys are in abundance. The theme parks, the bungee humping sites, water parks, zoos, giant aquariums and other sites are of absolute perfection giving the tourists plentiful reasons to visit the location year after year. Some of the best attraction sites in Orlando that have for the longest time possible been the centre for most tourists include the following –Magic Kingdom Theme Park – One of Disney’s four theme parks, Magic Kingdom is where most of us wanted to be during our childhood. The theme park’s centerpiece is Cinderella castle – the huge castle around which the pathways lead to the six whimsical lands – Main Street U.S.A., Adventureland, Frontierland, Liverty Square, fantasyland and Tomorrowland. The park is where these beloved characters come right into life as attractions, parades, shows and more. A definite experience for your kids and for you – if you’re still the kid at heart, magic kingdom is indeed an experience of a lifetime.Disney’s Hollywood Studios – if you’re interested in visiting a park that is all about the magic of cinema, offering a behind the scene looks about the Hollywood action then it is this one – Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The four area of the park are designed to create a perfect blend like and enormous movie set that is full of neon, chrome, art décor, and modern architecture. Take a walk through the majestic lands of Narnia, get on stage at The American Idol Experience, or relive some of your favorite scenes on The Great Movie Ride. It is this magical world that brings cinema and televisions come into life.Orlando gives me chills because it makes me feel happy. How about you?

Cheapest meditteranean holiday?

Where are you going from in the states?

I went to Greece (Athens, Santorini, Mykonos) for 14 days 3 summers ago. I have a Greek friend whom was in Greece vising family for a month. I flew over solo to meet her. I went from Boston to London, London to Athens, Greece spent few hours in Athens, then took a tiny plane from Athens to Santorini (scenic and BEAUTIFUL). To get from Santorini to Mykonos we took a overnight "boat." Then to get back to main land (Athens) from Mykonos another small plane. Remember it's 7 hours difference and you use lose a lot of time traveling so plan accordingly. Plan at least to go for two weeks.

Flight & hotels, transfers, etc. was probably about $1200ish (that's not including eating and going out). It's not cheap. It was a blast and worth it. We booked through a travel agent. I would shop around. Check out www.kayak.com it compares tons of travel sites. But if you plan to go to several places I would suggest using a travel agent it sprobably best bet.

Both islands I went to were beautiful, however Mykonos is more a party island, and Santorini definitely has great nightlife, but more a romantic, scenic island. If I were going back, I'd go to Santorini.

Have fun Greece is an amazing place. Definitely one of those places that should be on everyone's "Do before I die" list.

How many forever stamps would I need to send a letter to Australia?

The cost of mailing up to one ounce to Australia is $1.15. If you use 3 forever stamps you will be paying too much ($1.50) but two would not be enough ($1.00). If you use a ‘global’ forever stamp, you only need one, as the value of it is $1.15. The global forever stamp currently looks like a succulent (cactus if you will). Previously, it was an image of the moon, different images of the earth, and at Christmas time a few years back it was a Christmas wreath. All of these stamps are round in shape. A single one of those stamps would pay the freight to Australia, or any foreign country for that matter.

What are some good recommendations for a romantic trip of 15 nights in Italy and Santorini for a 5th anniversary?

A romantic vacation, to me, is relaxed without rushing from train to hotel and so forth. My honeymoon was 9 days in Santorini, and I could have stayed longer, we rented a scooter to see the different towns on the island. Or maybe just spent a pair of nights in Athens, which we needed to stop in anyway. For Italy, the best beaches are the Almalfi Coast (including Sorrento, Positano, Almalfi, and near Pompeii) and the Cinque Terre (literally 5 towns, featuring hiking trains connecting them). The two are different but also very similar. I wouldn't deal with the stress of trying to see them both on the same trip. ...that is unless you can make it all the way to Sicily, which is a lot of hopping if you also want to get to Santorini, too. But no beach is more beautiful than Isola Bella in Taormina, Sicily in my opinion. For the farm experience in Italy, what you want is an Agroturismo. Tuscany's country side is not that different from the rest of Italy's, so I wouldn't use that as a limiting factor. Throw the term "Agroturismo" into Google.IT or surf Trip Adviser or Booking.com.

What are some websites to rent a yacht in Europe?

Unless you have a year, you should first decide from which area you wish  to start from and then simply Google ''Yacht Charter + name of area''.  For example you could do Venice to Trieste and then down the Istrian  Coast.Istria for us was three weeks,  and we could have spent more time. We picked the boat up in Trieste and  sailed down from there. Great sailing and enough ports to tie up every  day in a new place. Learn how to do a proper ''Med. mooring'' before you  go!!Greece on the same trip and then where in Greece? - I'd add a few more weeks, unless you start somewhere in the Greek Islands.Plus  remember, they rules for bare-boat charter in Europe are likely the  strictest you will find anywhere; Germany has a graduated skippers  license system for example and so do a few other countries. At  a minimum they will want to know your experience with the size of boat  you wish to charter, then they will take you out on a trial run for a  few hours. You naturally can bypass all this all by getting a crewed  boat and you still get to sail as much as you want. Enjoy!
