I haven't found anything that can make this possible at the moment. The Xperia S is using a custom boot manager in order to achieve this. There used to be a similar app in the play storehttps://play.google.com/store/ap...that let you use multiple roms but the support seems to have stopped.The only way is: the guy that made the boot manager for the Xperia S to make something similar for the ZL.

You cannot, unless you are a service engineer. Xperia Z series comes with non removable battery types. The only way to rem0ve is by contacting the service center. If you wanna take risk by removing yourself, you can check this video on youtube.

I don't think rooting deletes data present on your mobile. But it voids your warranty and Sony will not be responsible for any damages hardware/software due to installation of custom ROM's.Unlocking of the boot loader, on some devices may affect some pre-loaded features like image processing of the camera or you may not get any future updates even if you continue using the stock ROM.I'm not sure, but unlocking the boot loader might render the user data partition inaccessible.(This partition holds data like contacts, messages etc)In case you plan on doing it, i suggest you take a proper backup of your data.

Boot Loop issue.I guess your some system files are corrupted. Is this problem occued after a recent OTA upgrade. If yes, you have to do a quite of digging as xperia OTA updates sometimes corrupts .ta files.Can you give me the exact images pr a small video so that I can see how much it boots?If it is displaying Sony logo, don't worry, you can fix it yourself.Just give me images of what it shows on booting.
