Transferring with a 1.8gpa?
A friend of mine home college messed up his transcript and didn't accept the classes they told him to take which dropped his GPA. Would he be able to transfer out with 42 credits and a 1.8gpa?

Meeting the minimum requirements does not guarantee admissions. Some schools that are not competitive with entry you may have a shot at, but others are more competitive and just meeting the minimum will not get you in. Also just because you get into the university it does not mean the college of your major will accept you especially if it a limited access program which UCF and USF have a lot of. With those types of programs, not only do you have to meet the requirements of the university but you also have to meet the requirements of the college itself an example is University of Central Florida and its School of Social Work you have to apply to both and be accepted by both.
FSU transfer student with AA help!?
Hi, I'm looking to transfer to FSU next Fall 2015 from an in-state universtiy. I have an AA with a 3.37 GPA (will bring up by the time I transfer). I'm a biology major which is non limited access, but I'm still worried I won't be accepted by the department. I made one C+ in a chemistry course but all my other science courses are As or Bs. I was also wondering about the course requirements. I've read different things on their website. Do I have to take Analytic Geo & Calc 2 and applied statistics (I've taken elements of stats; apparently it has a diff course #) for acceptance? I've taken Bio 1, bio 2, chem 1, chem 2,fulfilled my liberal arts and gordon rule courses as well. If you can help, thanks!

What your counselor may have meant is that due to budgetary concerns and to space limitations, FIU will be limiting underclassman transfers because they are having to limit underclassman enrollment. That is happening at universities across Florida. Your academics look excellent enough to get admitted to FIU with no problems, but it may be that they are limited in the number of underclassmen (freshman and sophomore) transfers they can accept. Your grades shouldn't be the concern, the limited number of enrollees because of poor state budgeting for higher education is the problem. Good luck though, you should be very proud of your grades!
How long does it take to transfer from savings to checking account?
I am with Capital One bank. I both having savings and checking with them. I was wondering how long would it take to transfer my savings to checking account. I need the money in an instant. I heard that online transfer take up to 7 business days, and ATM, you can't process. So my only option is from the bank teller. But I need to know how long. And what is the limit per transfer? Also, what ID do I need to bring with me?

It depends on what status you are living in the States. Generally, Nepali laws don't allow its citizens to take money abroad for investment. If you have not given up the Nepali citizenship, taking the entire amount at a single shot is quite difficult. I have one advice, there are many people who want to send money to Nepal from the US. How can I transfer a whole pie from a glass pie plate to a throw-away aluminum pie plate?
Short of freezing the pie first, I just don't think it can be done without a lot of mess and a broken pie. If you are planning on doing a lot of pie-selling, you might as well get used to those cheap aluminum pie plates.
