How to calculate my mark?
If your exam counts for 30% of your grade, then everything else counts for 100%-30% = 70% of your grade. So, this is what we'll use to calculate your final grade, G (converting percents to decimals by dividing by 100): G = 0.70 * 0.60 + 0.30 * x where x is your exam percentage. You can solve that for x. 0.30 * x = G - 0.70 * 0.60 x = (G - 0.70 * 0.60)/0.30 If you want to know how many points, y, you need on the exam, you can use x = y/200. I don't know what score you need to pass, but let's say it's a 65%. Plug that in for G to tell you what you need to score on the exam. x = (0.65 - 0.70 * 0.60)/0.30 x = 0.76666... So, you need a 76.67% on the exam. If the exam is out of 200 points, that's y = 200*x y = 200*0.76666... y = 153.333... Better round that up to 154 points, just to be safe!

How is IBPS PO final cut off calculated?
Dear friendsIbps po final merit is prepared by giving 80% weightage to ibps po mains marks and 20% weightage to ibps po interview marks. So let take an example I have 46.69 marks in final merit out of 100.And my ibps po mains marks were 93.7So as mains marks has been given 80% weightage we multiply it by 0.4 soSo I get 93.7*0.4= 37.44And the interview marks has been given 20% weightage so we multiply it by 0.2Suppose today I have got my final marks and I don't know my interview marks .let assume it to variable x.Then the equation will be( (93.7*0.4)+(x*0.2))=46.69On solving this you can easily found that variable x that is my interview marks are 46.25In this way you can calculate your interview marks and the final merit.Thank you very much

How do you calculate your average mark in school?
Well, say if you get the following marks on your tests: 90, 85, 100, 80, 70, and a 90 on your final exam, calculate your final score by multiplying, 90+ 85+100+80+70 = 425/5 = 85 (your average test score) = (85* .75 = 63.75) (90 * .25 = 22.5) 63.75+ 22.5 = (86.25 is your final grade for the entire semester.)
