How To Check Branch Ranking In Pgcet Results

I have 433 rank in TSPGECET in the ECE branch. Can I get a seat in the OU or the JNTUH?

the seats in universities are like REGULAR/SF/SNS which are available for web options.regular fee in jntu or ou will be 30k/year .can get aicte fellowship which is given only for gate q/f students but not pgecet studentsSF means self finance WITH aicte fellowship with fee 50k/yr.SNS means self finance WITHOUT aicte fellow ship with fee 50k/yrso majority of gate q/f students go for reg or sf but not sns because they dont leave there aicte fellowship by opting sns,so pgecet students have majority change to get seat through sns,but need to get very good rank in pgecet. finally there will be around 18 seats for reg, 5 seats for sf, 5 seats for sns per specialisation upto my knowledge.i hope my answer is adequate to clear ur doughts

What are the best, and reasonably priced PGCET Karnataka coaching classes in Bangalore?

The best coaching centre would be Punarvasu Tutorials . This institute provides outstanding study material that will help to crack ISRO , NET , KSET etc in the future and coaching level is very intense . There will be many mock tests to boost up your confidence . Unlike other institutes , I think this is the best institute at a very affordable price . Each one in the batch gets individual attention . You will learn a lot of core topics that you never bothered to listen or learn at B.E . I myself got enrolled in the year 2018 , got the best rank and I am pursuing my M.Tech at R.V College of Engineering . This institute offers coaching if you are from CSE or ISE background only .For more details : Punarvasu Tutorials, PGCET Coaching for Computer Science and Information Science, Bangalore, IndiaHappy learning ! Good Luck

Is there a supernumerary quota in the Karnataka PGCET?

Yes, There is supernumerary quota in the Karnataka PGCET, you will automatically get qualified for these quota based on the basics of rank you have got and cutoff of the college you are applying. The government has allotted 5% of seats in each branch of almost all colleges for supernumerary quota.for eg , You have got 19000 rank in PGCET and you have applied for a college/branch whose cutoff is 19500 then you have high chances of getting a seat in supernumerary quota.

Should I go for M.Tech in average college or repeat GATE and try for IITs?

I would not suggest doing an MTech now, there is very little value in MTech in India, other than from good colleges. Unless you are very specifically looking at Government JobsTeaching ProfessionI would NOT recommend going for MTech now. The most important thing you need to understand is that , there is an opportunity cost associated with MTech, the point is you are losing 2 years of your job, and 2 years of experience. If you cannot make up for what you lose in the knowledge you gain, and in being able to apply to more companies, you are losing A LOT. Firstly the only important difference you would find between BTech , and MTech is actually only the project/thesis you do. In average colleges, this is often a joke, and I have seen people get through with projects that would not even make the BTech Project cut at NITs, so considering your interest is to get into Core CS, it would not help you. If you look at placement statistics, the placement statistics of MTechs ain't much better (or in many cases are actually worse) than that of BTech of the same college. Look at the faculties in the colleges you are going to, do you really think they would be able to guide the MTech students ?So going for MTech now will NOT help you to Get more deep knowledge about core CS topics.Get a much better placement at a later timeIf you are confident that you can do better, I would definitely suggest aiming for IITs (even NITs have very little additional value when it comes to MTech) and I am sure you can make it.

What are the qualifying marks in GITAM (GAT) University?

I am a 1st year CSE student (going to complete) in GITAM, Vizag. I hope my answer will be helpful to you.I had the same tension when applying last year through GAT 2016. I gave the exam, which is online, and bam, a score of 74 flashed on the screen. I was worried as I had scored only 74 out of 360. I had lost hope even for getting a call for counseling. But the worries didn't last long. After the declaration of results, I had got a rank of somewhere in 7200. Well, I had the freedom to chose any branch of my choice in any of the campuses.Summing-up my story, all I want to say is, GITAM is a Private University, so you will get admission even through management quota. But I would suggest that scoring anywhere above 70 should be more than enough to get your desired seat in a particular campus. Scoring anywhere above 50 will be sufficient to get you an admission in branches other than CSE (to be safe I am saying 50 because of the competition this year). Well admissions here take place by the rank you get and the marks you score determine your rank. There may be slight variation in the rank you get depending upon various factors, one of them being number of applicants. A score above 100 will bring you a rank in hundreds, which will make you one of the students from the creamy layer during admissions for GITAM.But, GITAM has students who have even scored negative marks in their GAT exam. So, needless to state, it doesn't matter how much you score, you will definitely get a admission in GITAM irrespective of how much you score in GAT.I wish you all the best for the admissions.
