How can I convince my parents to buy me a PS4?
Show them all the other things a PS4 can do besides play games.This was how I (as a simple-minded teenager), convinced my parents to buy us a PS2. Back then, the DVD had just hit mainstream attention, and our house was filled with nothing but old VHS players. The PS2 had a DVD player built in, and many people bought it specifically to play dvds (without ever buying a single game). My parents were able to upgrade their own entertainment, and give their kids a sweet Christmas gift at the same time!The PS4 is a massive media entertainment hub. In addition to the bluray player, it supports tons of different streaming apps like Netflix, Hulu, HBO Go, Amazon Prime video, etc, etc. You can link your Spotify account to it and stream your own music from the living room. You can browse the internet on it. And depending on where you live in the U.S. you can subscribe to an entire TV channel package, and ditch your cable/satellite provider completely. I've completely replaced all my various media hubs and disc players with the PS4. It's my central command center for all entertainment, and it doesn't hurt that the game lineup is pretty sweet. If either of your parents like technology at all, and wants to simplify the living room entertainment center, well...you've got your selling points now :)

That IS a lifetime commitment, getting a tattoo. I guess your parents have gone on and on about that fact. Look, 2 years and you’re 18. Your arm/leg/back/chest/ or butt will still be there. I had to convince my parents to get me my Xbox One too! Haha. First off, I just want to say that to me, it was so worth it stepping up my console game to this. One thing you can say to them is that almost all of the coolest enhanced game will be coming out on Xbox One. Sometimes, which will be most in the future, creators of the games won't be coming out with anything new for the Xbox 360, they might even stop making games completely for the 360 just like they did for the PS2 (Even though it's really old). And if you just can't let gaming go, you'll 'need' the Xbox One. Tell them what new things have been changed for the better on this new console, for example the up to date controller. BUT DO NOT STRESS YOUR PARENTS WITH IT!! If you ask and they say no, don't fuss over it. Be kind and try again in a few days. Pamper your parents while your at it! and the'll see how far you're willing to go to get it. Good Luck! :)

How do I convince my ASIAN parents to get me a Sony PlayStation 3?
i was in that exact same situation so what i did was i just went out and bought one. my parents where like "NO! you give that back to the shop right now!" and they said i had a week to do so. but on like the 3rd day with my ps3 i was playing MW2 in my room and my dad saw this and he asked me how to play. since then the ps3 has been in the living room and i play nearly every night. if u are to use this tactic buy a game too so ur dad can see how awesome a ps3 is and if possible buy a 2nd remote. so you parents would think that you bought the ps3 so you can also play with ur brother or somethin if this wont work with u then ask them what you need to do to get one. when i asked this they said bring home A's. i worked hard and got a A in every single biology test (thats like 10 A's) they said no so i went out and bought one. if u want to convince ur parents to buy one speak to them hours on end about its built in wifi or blu ray dvd player and how it can surf the net and stuff. this will show them how much u want it
