How to convince my mom to let me wear high heels? I'm 14.?
Okay so I want these heels : http://www.amazon.com/Qupid-PUFFIN-39-Floral-Fabric-Platform/dp/B008GTP8E0 they're really cute and she knows I want booties like those. They are 4 inches... and I'm only 14. I googled "Should I let my 14 year old daughter wear 4 inch heels" and most people said yes, you should blah blah. But my mom is saying no i'm not letting you wear 4 inch heels. These shoes that I want are not like pumps or open toed zebra print shoes or something. They are cute little ankle booties. I would wear them with JEANS / PANTS and a cute shirt. Yes I would wear them to school but they can easily be worn casually or dressy. I think those boots will make me more confident and stuff. I really really love those boots. I saw them in the SEVENTEEN magazine and then I googled them. Now I finally found them and I want to buy them. They are $50 and the other day my mom said I can look for shoes that are under 60. THEY ARE UNDER 60! Plus I have about $20 in my wallet. The only reason she won't buy them is because they are 4 inches. Help me convince her to let me buy them? I told her I'd do chores and stuff for the shoes but she still says no. The boots dont even look 4 inches to me, they look 3 inches... but I don't know. I mean come on yeah I'd wear them to school and its MY CHOICE to be walking around in high school wearing them. I feel like she thinks boys will call me easy if I wear heels, which I think is ridiculously stupid. THEY ARE BOOTS FOR CRYING OUT LOUD ! Those are the most perfect shoe EVER and she will not let me buy them because of the heel height. Please help me convince her to let me wear 4 inch heel boots. Can you convince her to let you start with something like kitten heels first? I just remember taking my neighbor shopping for a dance and she's about yoru height and was the same age. She insisted on getting these heels even though she couldn't walk in them. But she didn't know how absurd she looked in them. They made her look really young, like someone playing dress up. So make sure you can walk in them first. But your mom might let you start out with smaller heels or chunkier heels first. Something with more stability. Moms will always want you not to look like you're 18 until you are. For good reason. But just take it slow. There will be plenty of time to wear all the shoes you want to. And totally kill your feet. lol

Okay..... so ive been dying for to wear heels and turned 13 yesterday and i asked my mom if she can buy me heels that i saw at the mall last week.. of course she said no.. i explained to her that heels are not piercing or anything that can affect and i also told her that i just wanted to look pretty... iM tired of FLATS and SANDALS i just cant handle them anymore i even showed her that i know how to walk in high heels i walked in one of my moms heels that was 5 inch and i waled them PERFECT but she still said no ughhhh please someone help me with the parents that i have ,..... by the way i have my dads approval i just need my moms approval PLASE SOMEONE HELP ME !!!! Tell her that it is just for the dance, and you won't wear them to school, only on special occasions. If worst comes to worse, put the heels in your bag and change at the dance, or ask your friend to bring them if you don't want to get caught.

Well, frankly, you could just buy a pair, give them to a friend, and ask your friend to bring them to the prom. Then you don't have to get permission, you just have to learn how to walk in them before your prom. But if you want to get permission, ask her to go shopping with you. See if you can come to some agreement on what will look good with the dress. Ask her what her fears are if you wear heels. Your mom's being an idiot. In two years you'll be out of the house and wearing whatever you want. You should learn now, while she can still influence you. 2-3" isn't unreasonable.

I love heels! I'm short but not really short (5'2) and I bought these cute wedges for my dads wedding that were probably about 4-5 inches high. I wore them to the wedding and now my mom is all pissy and mad about it. But I don't understand because I got tons of compliments on my shoes and I wear high heels whenever I can. She just always says I look stupid in them and that I'm just a little girl blah blah. I am 15 years old so what is she freaking out over? I only wear the super high ones to events like homecoming and other dances or church, its not like I'm strolling around in 5 inch stilettos!
