How To Convince Parents To Get Me A New Computer

How do I convince my parents to buy a new computer, with a price tag of $1844.45 AUD?

Unless you plan to go to college or you are in college and you can convince me that you actually need such an expensive laptop (Mac Air perhaps?) you are not getting one.In essence you have to justify every feature:Laptop vs desktop - For example, you plan to go to the library and study there a lot, and you need something light (but, how much light?)Screen size; why do you need this particular size? smaller is cheaperCPU/RAM specs. Why do you need so much power if you simply plan to use word and watch Netflix and YouTube?Does it come with Office? If not, how much extra is that going to cost me?Bonus points, if you plan to work, and pay part of it yourself.

How can I convince my parents to move the computer into my room?

We have 6 computers in the house, my sister and brother each have one, there's the one I use, then my parents work laptop, then my mum has 2 laptops for work reasons. I'm the only one in the whole house that uses the computer I use. Because everyone else in the house has their own. I thought it would be fair if I moved the computer into MY room. It would be much easier, because what's the point of having it out in the living room when i'm the only one that uses it? I'm 13, and I know i'm a bit young to have it in my room, but I have 11 year old friends that have computers in their rooms. and believe it or not, their parents are strict! I want my parents to know that they can trust me, but they think they're never gonna see me again. Please please please help me! How do I convince them ? D:

How do I convince my parents to get me a gaming computer?

Honestly, to convince your parents to buy you an expensive gaming PC as it seems that what you want, it’s very difficult. Having your parents who work to make money to support you and your family buy you an expensive PC is all dependent on their leniency as parents as well as if the deal you are trying to portray or your persuasion is a compromise between you and your parents is doable. In all honesty, it would be better trying to build your own rather than buy an expensive retail priced computer. I personally had to save up to 2 years from money that was given to me from my dad and relatives to build mine which is worth probably the amount of a 1200–1500 dollar computer that I built for just under 1000 dollars with a little help from my parents. Trying to outright ask your parents to invest in say a 2000 dollar computer is very unlikely that the situation with succeed BUT if you were to build it, the cost would be cheaper, it would show the exact prices of your components which your parents could see and compare, and it would probably be better than a retail overpriced computer.Edit: The gist of the answer is that everyone’s parents are different. Some will straight up buy you a 3000 dollar computer without a wince of hesitation while most will have to be persuaded in a way that is beneficial and economically efficient for them to help you get the computer. The key word there was HELP not buy. Most parents would gladly HELP you afford the computer rather than just buy straight off the bat.

How can I convince my parents to let me use the computer again?

Well I don't really know how easy your mom is to fall for things or cave in when you ask but here are somethings that might work on totally tuff parents.

#1 tell them why you are always on the computer and that taking it away isn't fair for your lifestyle some things kids to for a reason like talk more on the computer then they do in real face to face mostly cause their shy and nervous if you are just tell her it's easier to talk to people on the computer.
#2 you have to be good you can't act mad (even though you didn't say you were just a tip sorry if it affended you) but behave and show her you are worth the time on the computer like never reject to what she says

#3 don't beg begging is pathetic to most parent if they think you have a problem with something that will prove her right.

#4 all and all don't lose your cool if you want something you
have to ask you can't put it aside for to long but long enough inbeteen askings so they don't get annoyed take it easy and if you have like a
note bored everyone reads at your house like my house we have a small chalkboard and my mom sometimes leaves notes on it for my dad to do or my brother leaves a note saying the phone bills are today before he goes to work that kid of thing I might suggest you right something like I don't know "don't forget to put the computer back please :)" or something playful and not demanding

I wish you luck and I understand your frustration I play games online to but my father for some reason is totally against that I guess he doesn't want his little girl getting hurt by a fake world

Ps. Bob Jove maybe he used his iPod or iPhone something with wifi that's what I'm useing
Good luck ;) hope I helped

Convince my parents to get me a gaming pc?

Ok so my dad is willing to get me a pc but my mom doesn’t want me to. My grades are perfect (they are A’s) and she has no other reasons say no. I have an Xbox and a PS4 and a MacBook Pro that she knows can’t keep up with the latest games and stuff. I’ve also explained to her that why would you let me have two machines meant for gaming but not a machine that can be used for many other things? I want one with a 1050, only about 950-1000 with the monitor, keyboard, and mouse included, and I and my dad are willing for me paying 700 and my dad pays 300. I am in highschool aswell so any help would be appreciated.

How to convince my parents to let me have a desktop computer?

I am a 19 year old teenage boy and I have a laptop I've had for less than a year now. I had a desktop computer in my room one time but it died. We have one in the house but I don't use it very often. What can I do to get one?

How do I convince my parents to buy me a desktop computer instead of a laptop?

You know there are laptops capable of gaming on right?Thst said, I would recommend if you're dead set on the desktop thst you research the best desktop you can get where you currently are and where you might be going. If it can be had for the same money whether here or there then try to convince your parents to allow you to purchase one when you get there. You can use the (legitimate) excuse thst you want to see what kind of computers your major recommends. And then ask them what kind of price range they're thinking. If you can show them the desktop gives them more bang for their proverbial buck then great, you've made your case.Personally, I would also enorge you to thank them profusely for this gift, so made any don't get that gift because finances are tight, and second I bought a laptop for college. I liked to game too, but I figured the laptop would be nice to be made anyone portable. Seriously I loved that I could work on my homework wherever on that thing, and would urge you to really consider the laptop, especially if you're going into engineering or math you'll need a gaming laptop anyway
