Ultimately, this is a matter of personal preference. I prefer to record the video first, then add the audio later. When I record the audio first, I find that I have pacing problems and I will often move too fast to keep in sync with the audio. I find it much easier to speak to visual cues and adjust my pace as needed.Perhaps I am impatient, but I am more comfortable pausing while speaking than I am twiddling my thumbs while recording a screencast and waiting for the audio to catch up.

When you produce your video in Camtasia, just choose to produce for "Web". On the second screen make sure that "Organize produced files into sub-folders" is ticked. If you do this Camtasia will create a folder for you with all the files you need. Just upload this folder to the blackboard and it should work. To see the video, just surf to folder.
