How To Deal Wiv Haters/jelly Scallywags

How do I deal with ignorant family members? question for Black women.?

So I was watching the movie Good hair a couple of days ago. A relative and I were watching the part about the relaxers and how much damage they can do and my relative said to me " Well we put a perm in your hair when you were three years old because it was so nappy, and as soon as we put it in your hair your hair started growing. Your hair isn't growing as fast now because it's natural. You didn't get your mom's hair you got your dads bad hair"

As you can imagine that really pissed me off. I was so irritated I couldn't even focus on the rest of the movie.

I got my first relaxer when I was three and stopped at 19 almost 20 when I wanted to stop getting my hair relaxed. I am 21 now and I am finally fully natural and I love my hair. It's super curly and might I add awesome lol. I always hated getting relaxers because I hated the whole process. The burning, the straightening afterwards I hated them but I didn't know that I had a choice to not get them I though I HAD to get them. Finally I was fed up because I damaged my hair from wearing ponytails constantly and putting a relaxer on some already seriously damaged hair...not a good idea. I know that relaxers DO NOT have any effect on your hair growth so when my relative said that I just rolled my eyes. The relative that said this, I put relaxers in her hair because she gets them and when I put them in her hair she constantly tells me that I need to get one.

Another thing, my mom was half Native American, her hair was down to her back and loose waves, my dad's hair was pretty thick and a little course and so my hair is a slight mix of both of their hair. So when my relative said that, saying my dad has bad hair pissed me off.

My question is how do I deal with my family members saying like that. It's like they get offended when I say I hate perms. Them saying this isn't making me want to get a relaxer if anything it fuels me more to embrace my natural hair, but it still bothers me that they can get over their ignorance and stop thinking good hair is anything but healthy hair but straight hair.

Is there a proper way to make a peanut butter and jelly sandwich?

So far most people seem to be giving you tasty grown-up versions with proper breads and jams. These are all probably quite wonderful, but here is the classic kids version:Ingredients2 slices of cheap squishy white bread, such as Wonder Bread or the equivalent store brand. (Optional: trim off the crusts.)1–2 heaping teaspoons of Welch's grape jelly. This is not the time for Strawberry preserves or lemon curd.2–3 teaspoons of smooth peanut butter such as Jif or Skippy. Do not get the fancy kind of peanut butter that separates and must be stirred. That is too thick for the cheap bread.ProcedureTake a butter knife and spread one slice of bread with peanut butter. Spread it gently so that you don’t tear the bread.Put a teaspoon of jelly on the other slice and spread it around evenly. This won’t seem like enough, so add a bit more.Place the peanut butter slice on top of the jelly slice so that the peanut butter faces the jelly.Gently cut the sandwich in half on the diagonal. If you like smaller pieces, you can cut the sandwich into quarters. For a more sophisticated recipe you might try the same process with the following ingredients:Homemade oatmeal bread. Find a German or Scandinavian recipe that includes molasses. The result is a dense yet moist loaf. Cut thick slices.Sweet Orange Marmalade or Raspberry PreservesNutella — or you could make a soft dark chocolate ganacheNut Butter. Why not try cashew or hazelnut butter instead? Macademia nut butter would probably be brilliant (and pricey). This is something like the sandwich version of a Jaffa Cake with the addition of some sort of nut butter.

Is cold calling dead?

During the last webinar, I’ve asked attendees: "Who likes to receive cold calls? Raise your hand".Nobody raised. Then, I've asked: "Who likes to cold calling? Raise your hand".Nobody raised the hand again. The truth is that nobody likes cold calling. Neither make them nor receive. But still, it is the most popular lead generation channel. Especially on B2B markets. Why?Because it is "no-brainer".You simply hire a salesman, buy a prospects' database and play the game of numbers. There are 2 bad things about cold calling:1. You burn out your database2. Your salesman begs for the meeting that puts your company in the weaker position. Now your prospect sets the rule of the game.Sometimes, business owners think they could find and hire a new "wolf from Wall Street" but chances that your salesman would have the same level of sales skills are miserable. What should you do when the sales team will reach the last contact in the database? Call again? That's why cold calling is the strategically unreliable channel. But it can be effective if you'll align it with your inbound marketing strategy. For example, if you'll call your prospect and ask whether they might be interested in the new report or case study your company has prepared for the companies from your target industry. In such case, you change your position from the "beggar and seller" to "helper". As well, you get an implicit permission to reach your prospect once more, qualify him and move to the lead nurturing sequence.P.S. I ran a free webinar for B2B marketers&founders group members about the inbound lead generation. If you are interested, feel free to watch a recording here.

If you could say something to your haters, what would it be?

The concept of haters really cracks me up, now. Before this Quora popularity and all, the idea of haters used to scare me.However, haters are quite ironic. Ironic in a sense that they set out to accomplish one thing, but end up doing another. What do you mean, Aleeza? you’re wondering. What’s with this nonsense stuff, again?Allow me to explain -Let’s talk about YouTube since it’s much more popular than Quora. Say there’s a famous YouTuber with 10M+ subscribers. But just because that person has received so much positive energy doesn’t mean he has not had to deal with negative. One day some random, unknown, jealous dude named Jeremy comments a hate comment on the aforementioned YouTuber’s video -u r a peace of crpa, go dye in a whole. ur content is trrble go get a life.Oh, I’m sorry, here’s what it reads in English -You are a piece of crap, go die in a hole. Your content is terrible, go get a life. This person set out to hate on this famous YouTuber, but instead what did Jeremy do? He gave this guy a view on his video that already has millions of views. And we all know views=money. So, essentially, although Jeremy went to go hate on someone, he instead, gave the YouTuber moneh.Good going, Jeremy. While the YouTuber enjoys his free time in his hot tub in his 10000 sq. ft. mansion, you can be sulking in your small, unpaid for apartment, wasting your time bullying people on the Net, ‘cause you be so jelly. That’s the same thing here on Quora, but you don’t get paid for views. When someone comments something mean on your answer, they give you a view. More views=more people see your content=more followers. In a nutshell, the one view you give me, will be one more than the entire number of views you’ll ever get, honey. So getting to the question now. What do I want to say to my haters?Thank you.Without you, I don’t think I’d be where I am today.#HatersAreFansTooOh, and this is my message to newer Quorans who are just receiving the hate:If someone goes out of their way to bother you, you must be worth bothering, am I right, or am I right? And trust me, not that many people are actually worth bothering. Just think of it this way - if someone spends their free time hating you, they don’t got no life. And you, my friend, do. So you be you, and you rock on.—-✌️

Whats so special about Ariana Grande? ?

Like everyone else said.. it is the red hair that hooks people, mostly. For me, it was her name when I first saw it on TV, cuz I thought it sounded familiar.. IDK, I must have mixed something up, cuz I've never actually heard of her before o_o And then I YouTube'd her and watched her cover of Teenage Dream, got wow-ed because of her amazing singing skills, and I was a fan. But I didn't become a fan because of her hair color.. or beauty.. or anything. I actually think she looks more "average" than Liz Gillies, for example. What makes her eyes stand out so much is her false lashes and eyeliner, for example, while the blue of Liz's eyes pops against her other features.
It's special that she started her career on Broadway. She was a great singer from an early age, and she's not one of those "actresses turned singer"s; she was a singer way before she acted, and it's her passion.
In Victorious, she has a funny role. Yes. People like how girly she is. But I think most of her talent lies in singing. I mean.. have you heard her high notes :O
Oh, and people love her unique style -- high-waisted stuff, ponytails, bows, strapless stuff, basically: girly stuff that's supposed to look 50's inspired xP She also loves old movies and coconut water.
But yes. I don't think she should be "worshipped" like she is by SO many fans. It's pretty annoying -_- she always gets called flawless and like, put on a pedestal.
And seriously? You know Arianators on Facebook? :o i'm glad I don't ^.^ <3

What is it like to date a stripper/dancer?

Like each other dream on the planet, the truth of dating a stripper is entirely not quite the same as the assumptions of the individuals who have by no means tasted it immediate. But men who like to date strippers are frequently playing with flame.Strippers are somewhat like a crate of chocolates. You never recognize what you are going to get. a lot of strippers has a tendency to be into medications and the gathering way of life that accompanies it. Lovely women moving for horny men who give them free beverages, sedates, their cash, guarantees of a departure from the way of life, and so forth. It's astounding to see what drugs and unreasonable drinking and celebrating can have on another individual. Cocaine makes you horny. Folks with cash and cocaine are similar to sweet to strippers and women who like cocaine. Doing the drugs makes them very prone to surrender the pussy in return for more drugs. They lose the greater part of their hindrances.Strippers can be exceptionally lovely, luring, provocative, beguiling, charming, and so forth and in this manner hard for a man to stand up to. Dating strippers can be truly hot and fun. It's a twofold edged sword to date strippers. They are more sexually open than your normal lady, however as a rule, they have a watercraft heap of stuff to oblige them; daddy issues, and so on. So the shots of a gentleman discovering the affection for his life and a flawless lady to have a family with in a strip joint are exceptionally far-fetched.Dating strippers is all that much like dating any other individual, with the exception of that we (yes, I'm a stripper) happen to take our garments off for cash. To date a stripper, it is alright with your own sexuality and virility. Clearly, you need to believe the girl to begin with. Be that as it may, odds are, your stripper sweetheart was a stripper before she met you, and will keep on being a stripper long after you're gone from her life, so it would be useful for your psychological wellness to not have an issue with her method for bringing home the bacon. I recommend reading Dating Strippers for more insight.

Why is lebron James so underrated and hated?

I don’t think he’s underrated, most people consider him a top 5 or at least top 10 all time player, which is pretty high (of course these lists are somewhat subjective, people see the game in different ways, plus there’s the generation question mark with the older players - not so much videos etc.). As for the hate, well, like with every great player you have the fans and the haters. Especially for the most electrifying ones. Even players like TD get hate, like him being to slow, not enough emotions etc, so, it’s just people being people. The Decision didn’t help, Lebron is known for whining (I’m a Lebron fan and this iritates me also), but other than these, this guy is really a role model to young kids - is a family guy, treats his teammates with the utmost respect, etc.As for the choking, well, it did happen in the Mavs series, Lebron was just out of focus in these games, he wasn’t sure what he should do - he choked. But with the exception of this series, when did Lebron underachieve? He led a 0 talent Cavs team to the Finals when he was 22. On the way to the Finals beat the Pistons with the famous 25 points in a row. He was amazing in 2009 vs the Magic, averaging 39/8/8 on 49% shooting, yet the team lost. Not to mention leading his team to a comeback in gm 6 vs the Spurs, and now down 3–1 vs the Warriors. Singlehandedly leading his team to 2 wins with next to 0 help vs the best team in the league in the ’15 finals…Kobe is thought of as clutch, yet so many times he choked, didn’t deliver, played bad in game 7’s etc., but, most of the time his teams won, because, ultimately, it’s a team effort. One of Kobe’s clutchest games came vs the Suns, gm 6 in 2006 when he scored 50 points and scored several points in the 4th & in OT, with very few misses - yet the team lost. Lebron had legendary games, legendary 4th Q’s and is one of the clutchest playoff performers we have ever seen. These don’t always result in wins.

Who was the most incompetent U.S. president between Carter, Reagan, Bush 41, Bush 43, Obama, and Trump?

This is one of those more complicated than it sounds questions. Any answer shorter than a fat book is going to be diluted by generalization—but here’s my take:—— Incompetent ——It’s early in the Trump presidency, but unless he changes radically, he’s well on the way to being the most awful, disastrous president in U.S. history. Physically, he is 70 years old, but he constantly acts like an angry toddler—making him both the oldest and youngest president.Bush 43 got thousands of young Americans killed or maimed in a senseless second-front war, and was the first U.S. president to authorize torture and hire mercenaries. Also, he actively helped steer us into a recession. Not good.Reagan cut taxes and increased spending, which tripled the national debt. Amazingly, some on the right still promote those same loony economic theories. Then there’s the Iran-Contra scandal, in which his administration sold weapons to Iran to raise money to fund a Nicaragua terrorist group. When he left office, Republicans launched a surprisingly successful campaign to make him a political saint—overstating his achievements and ignoring his failures. This determination to puff up Reagan may be in part because, at that time, they were still trying to live down Nixon.—— So-so —Carter had his heart in the right place, and the Bushes and Trump make him look a bit better—but his term at best was unexceptional. On a high note, he may have been the first president to really understand that we need a national energy policy.Bush 41 is kind of the Republican Carter. He got grief for raising taxes after he said he wouldn’t—but Reagan’s economic mess forced him to do it, and it was actually one of the braver and more sensible things he did.—— Most competent ——Clinton balanced the budget—the first president to do so since Johnson. He put more police on the streets and cut government spending. He probably had the best grasp of economics of any modern president. No president is perfect—he helped repeal Glass-Steagall, which created a regulatory vacuum that contributed to the Bush Recession.Obama pushed all the right economic buttons to get America out of the Recession. We’re still coasting on job growth caused directly by his policies. Like all presidents, he could have done more, but he left the country better than he found it, and has left us wistful for the days when we had a grownup in the White House..[Light edit—typo, and minor enhancements]

He's too big...what can I do?

speaking from experience, I've learned a few tricks, because I'm really big and girls are usually uncomfortable with my size. and honestly, they are never 100% comfortable...it's just something I gotta deal with, being really big.

Firstly, always make sure you get a good amount of foreplay, and you keep your mind relaxed. If you are nervous or anticipating pain, you body will react accordingly, and you won't be able to take as much down below. Also, a good lube is always useful. either buy lube, or try grape seed oil. grape seed oil works great for me, and it's really good for the skin of both partners.

if length is the problem, one trick I found that helps me out is instead of moving my penis in and out, I put it in part way, move in and out only about an inch or two, but try to move my penis in circles, to still get some friction. This doesn't work all the time because of my thickness, but it is helpful. another trick is to have him wrap a cloth or something around the base of the penis, so the cloth doesn't make him go too deep.

if thickness is the issue, you just have to get use to it. Every long term relationship I was in, the girl had a lot of pain from girth, but over time she got use to it and there was no problem. again, grape seed oil helps, and a lot of foreplay.

if you have any specific questions, feel free to let me know, I know all about the "curse" of being really big.
