use this to re-size your E drive http://partedmagic.com/ make it smaller so that you can make a new partition (NTFS file format)and move your stuff to that partition,then you can delete the old Windows 7's partition and "Grow" the one with your music on it to fill it back up.or just back up all your stuff to discs,flash drives or ext. hdd then format E and then move it back.

right click and look under properties to make sure it is not read-only... if that doesn't work attempt to locate the file in that folder that is running in the processes tab of the task manager then ending it. If neither of those works try deleting it via dos... the command is: del

How to delete (almost) empty folders?
My music folders are so jacked up because of terrible syncing on my part, Itunes organizing, and just OMFG I WANNA DIE. I need a program that can choose a folder, sort through all of it and subfolders, and allow me to display all subfolders that don't contain a particular type of file. In my case I would choose audio files. Then I would select them all and delete these beasts forever! (I lost over 60 gigs of music somehow because of unknown reasons between transferring, sigh) Is there anything out there like that? I need it.
