Why is my laptop hate me?
Hello, I'm not computer savvy so just bear with me. I have an exam Monday and I need the net really bad, the thing is I installed this AVG thing on my new laptop which I bought because my old one crashed. As soon as I installed it it slowed my computer down so bad. And I see online that there are problems getting rid of it. When I go to delete the programme it lets you click an "uninstall" button, but then when that runs it doesn't uninstall it goes "installing"!!! Hoe sneaky is that?? SO really there is no way to delete the programme from my laptop now. The next thing I did is use a Norton antivirus product code I got given, and I have had advice after this that this wasn't a good idea cause now I have two antivuruss on there and that will slow it down further apparently. So Is there a way I can finally get rid of AVG? Could I realistically get rid of anything else? There is that JavaScript and Adobe Flash Player - but do I need those to watch YouTube? Will videos play without it? Also when I put on YouTube, it won't let me make the screen big : ( cause all this memory is used. And it keeps saying "Virtual Memory Too Slow" I don't know what to do about this, all I want is a laptop that runs fast. BTW I have broadband in the house so the actual net connection is fast. It's this laptop and it's since I put on AVG. And now there is this whole file that Norton found and all it has in it is AVG stuff! Like an insect takeover! Windows 8 built in movies app virus?
I have been getting alerts that a virus is on my system. I check were it was coming from, and it turns out it's coming from: C:\Program Files (x86)\Movies App\SafetyNut I tried to remove it useing windows defender, but it didn't work. so I tried to go and remove it myself, but it said I needed permissions from the administrators.
