I feel sorry for you. I long ago learned never to do business with friends, family or neighbors. Sometimes people are mad at me because of that. But I had many similar experiences to what happened to you so now whenever friend or family offers, I tell them straight out " I never do business with family or friends because it ruins relationships'. Not that this helps you . Im sorry since you really have no recourse but to take the statement of the cost of the second repair to him( Perhaps they can write down that it was incorrectly done previously?) and say' this is what I had to pay to correct what you did. Can you help me out now?" He may ( or may not) pay or contribute. He needs to learn his limitations!!!!

If you mean Man's Best Friend of Texas and Georgia, I would be dubious. It is not a "training you to train your dog" program. They take your dog for two weeks and then return it. There appears to be some "upselling" going on, too. They do not talk about their methodologies, they do not tout the affiliations or qualifications of their trainers. They will however endeavor to teach your dog to attack on command. I would start with your local dog training club, and check out their puppy classes. Unless you want a dog that attacks on command.
