How To Do My Makeup On The First Day Of School

Should I wear makeup on the first day of school?

Many girls dream of going to school looking hotter than ever. It is important that girls learn to wear makeup right. It should be appropriate for their age, for daytime and for a casual school setting. Use the tips below to apply makeup for school.

1
Skip the foundation. Young girls have a natural healthy glow that is often covered up by heavy base. Use only spot concealer for pimples or under eye darkness, and let the rest of your natural skin shine through. If your skin is not evenly toned, use a tinted moisturizer. The fluorescent lights used in school make heavy foundation look terrible.

2
Use lip gloss. Lipstick makes a person look much older, especially if it is a dark color. Try a tinted lip gloss, but use pink and peachy tones instead of red or wine colors. Use deeper tones only when dressing up.

3
Concentrate on eyelashes. Use mascara and an eyelash curler to begin with; this creates the most natural looking makeup for a school setting. Choose a brown for light complexions, and a brown-black or black for darker complexions.

4
Use a pencil liner for girls over 14. Liquid liner is the most dramatic and should be reserved for evening and dress up times. Choose natural colors for school like browns and blacks, and draw a line right along the upper lashes from the center of the eye to the outside of the eye. Smudge the line with your finger.

5
Choose light colors. Light colors of blush and eye shadow look the most youthful and most appropriate for daytime. Dust a bit of pink toned color on your cheeks and eyelids up to the crease of the eye. You can even use a highlighter on the cheekbones and forehead and nose to brighten your face and add dimension.

What types of makeup should I wear on the first day of school?

None. This is for your own good.Forget about the chemicals and allergies, and the overpriced nature of cosmetics. On the first day, the plank is set very high: it is the standard that you will be held to for the duration of the year. So, if you go all out and put your best foot forward, you will have nothing to fall back on for the duration of the year.If on day1 you are shining and glowing, and on day3 you forgot either a liner or lipstick, then you will be judged harshly.People get used to a certain look, and having had raised the standard very high, there will not be anything to shock them with as time goes by.If you underwhelm them now, you can dazzle them later ;)

First day of school makeup ideas?

Hey there, fellow freshman! Well, I've been thinking a lot about how ill do my makeup too cause I don't like wearing a lot, but here's my advice:
Eyeshadow: a nude/tan shade for the lid, olive green color for crease & definition, and creamy white shade to highlight brow bone and inner corner of the eye.
Skip the eyeliner, if you do the shadow right you won't need it :)
yeah maybe a little mascara,
its your choice whether foundation or not, but if you want a natural look I'd recommend just some bb cream.
Maybe some light pink lip gloss to finish it off!
And do something simple but cute with your hair :)
Hope I helped!

What should I wear on the first day of school?

Wear orange. It's underrated.

Do you wear makeup to school or not?

Yes, I do wear makeup to school, and I've received a plethora of criticism for it. I began wearing makeup to school around 7th grade, but kept it fairly simple until I reached high school. Then, I started to be a little more extreme when it came to enhancing my face and followed the instagram trends (heavy contour, large fake brows, blinding highlight). It took me a very long time to realize the following;A) These trends look good on instagram and instagram only. The reason that this type of makeup became popular was that stars like the Kardashians began wearing them to look camera ready all the time. Makeup that looks good on someone in person, will look extremely different on camera, almost as if they aren’t wearing anything at all.B) Teachers will judge you for wearing more than a minimal amount of makeup. When you’re talking to a scholarly student that’s wearing clown-ish eyebrows it’s difficult to take them seriously. The manner in which you present yourself will change how teachers grade your work, and I had to toil endlessly to dissuade my teachers from seeing me as another ditzy student who didn’t really belong in the difficult classes she had signed up for.Overall, I’ve not changed the way I presented myself for the sake of a teacher, and will continue to wear half-shirts with lipstick because I’ve let my work and discussion in class exhibit my intellectual proficiency. Wearing makeup to school is a personal choice, and if you’re doing well in school, and makeup isn’t distracting from that, then do whatever the hell you want. I’ve even created a small side-business that earns me a pretty penny doing people’s makeup for formal events and have participated backstage during school plays doing makeup (which one actually has to try out for, believe it or not).~Edit~For some comical relief I included a picture of my ridiculous looking brows that I was so proud of.Original caption of this photo had been “Wake me up inside”. I was very insightful. Thank god it’s gotten better……never mind

Does it matter what I wear on the first day of school?

It all depends on what kind of impression you want to put forward. If you are 100% confident that you are going to wear sweatpants the rest of the year, and that is the impression that you want to put forward, then you should have no qualms with wearing sweatpants on the first day. Just remember that first impressions are everything. I say this partially on a basis of putting on a good first impression for people who you meet at school on the first day. But I also say this because you'll never know who you meet throughout the year. Perhaps a really cute guy who you want to impress. Perhaps a recruiter from an employer who you really like. You never know who you're going to meet at any given time - which is why looking the part, at any given time, is a responsibility that you have, as something that is completely within your control. So, to your question... can you wear sweatpants on the first day of school? If you're in the Americas, absolutely (sweatpants are generally unacceptable as public attire in most parts of Europe). Should you? Only if you're confident that wearing sweatpants regularly is not going to cost you any opportunities.

Pimple before first day of school How do I get rid of it?!?

I noticed a small pimple forming right between my nose and my mouth yesterday and I washed my face and put Oxy on it but now its bigger today and tomorrow is the first day of school! Is there anyway I can get rid of it or atleast make it so small, with makeup, it's unnoticable?
It's not HUGE right now but I don't want it to get even bigger by tom and it is noticable...

What should i wear for the first day of junior year? and what makeup?

Oh my goodness! We're almost exactly alike - I'm going in to my junior year and transferring schools from a private to a public, and I'm even 5'3 as well! Isn't that crazy? I have the same exact problem, but I don't start school for two weeks, and I haven't even gone shopping yet! I'll share with you what I'm thinking about..

I'm pretty girly, and always wear dresses. Plus, I've always been the girl to wear dresses on the first day. For you, I think a really pretty summery type dress or skirt would be cute with a denim jacket and your favorite shoes (I really like dresses and boots if it is cool enough) The only thing with dresses is that you have to make sure it doesn't look like you are trying too hard, especially on the first day. I went to public middle school, and people have a wide variety of styles. That's why a denim jacket or slightly worn in shoes might be a nice touch. I draw ideas from window shopping at my favorite stores, and from websites like modcloth, then I put my own touches on everything. Your clothes should be unique and comfortable! Try to avoid things you bought at department stores, or popular teen stores (Delias, Forever 21, etc.) Because other people will probably have your same clothes, considering there are hundreds or people in your class now.

For makeup, I wouldn't do anything much different than you normally do! I wear makeup every day, so I'll probably stick with what I'm comfortable with. Use light foundation if you need it, and a bit of a pink blush would be nice, or you could use bronzer for kind of a pretty glow. If you want to use shadow, go for purples or brown for your eyes. I'd do brown on the first day because it is more neutral, and won't look too overdone too fast. I personally always do eyeliner on the top, and then in just the corners for the bottom, and then do two coats of mascara, and then top everything off with gloss. I think makeup looks best when it looks fairly natural, but it still looks like you're wearing makeup. If you come to school with a bunch of makeup on, people might not get the right first impression of you! Keep things simple, and be yourself.

Add your favorite piece of jewelry or something else that you love for good luck! I'm so excited to start - especially because I'm going from all girls to public coed! Let us know what you decide to do :)
