How to Download eBay Transaction Information from PayPal

Why do eBay buyers want to pay through PayPal direct invoice rather than through eBay checkout? Is this some kind of scam or fraud?

Buyer Protection is quite strong through both eBay and Paypal, with the difference being that PP has a longer Dispute period. However, the seller has one extra protection. EBay wants the seller to pay for a Return Shipping Label, which is impossible if the seller is not in the same country as the buyer. The result is that the seller either has to send money for return shipping or lose both payment and item.Paypal insists that the buyer is responsible for returning the unwanted item on his own dime. Which protects sellers against fake “not as described” disputes where the buyer has no intention of returning the perfectly fine item.Nonetheless, it is always questionable when a customer wants to circumvent the system put in place by the seller.I’d just respond with a polite note thanking the customer for his offer, and saying that your policy is set out in the Terms of Sale and you prefer to stick to it.

How do I import transactions from historical PayPal transactions into QuickBooks Online?

Do you mean to ask, "How to import your PayPal transactions into QuickBooks Online?". QuickBooks Online automatically integrates PayPal with QBO. However, QBO will only pull 3 months worth of PayPal transactions. Also, QBO will not pull PayPal processing fees, line item, and tax data associated with your PayPal transaction. Yes, QBO integration is terrible and highly unreliable. Thankfully, there are a few other alternatives. We run a small EBay store, and needed to import 3 years worth of PayPal transactions into our newly created QBO account. We used a service called Snapy , they integrate with both PayPal and QuickBooks Online and integrates them well together. I took us about 1 hour to import all our 3 years worth of transactions, saving us well over 4 - 5 weeks of manual data entry work. There is a free trial if you wish to give them a try - Snapy

Why does PayPal search feature suck so bad?

Last time I checked, PayPal was owned by an 8.7 BILLION DOLLAR company called eBay... There is no excuse for their incompetence with searching and finding transactions. PayPal has cost me endless time and money because of it's inability to perform the simplest search and it NEVER wields a single result. I HAVE USED A SEARCH FEATURE THAT SUCKS SO BAD!

The search page has all these pointless options that don't work such as "Search in Email" which does NOTHING unless you know the exact email address you know the EXACT address you received a Payment from and even then, it ONLY WORKS HALF THE TIME!

For instance, you send a PayPal invoice to Larry@gmail.com, but Larry doesn't have PayPal and just uses his credit card. On the form it asks for an email address and he types MrJones@msn.com. Go back to PayPal and search for Larry@gmail.com, you get nothing. Search for MrJones@msn.com and you still get nothing. PayPal's so called "history" doesn't give a sh** about transactions unless they are from verified PayPal users.

Then there's other useless options such as "Search in Last Name" and "Search in First Name". This feature NEVER WORKS! No matter what you type in, you will not find anything. Searching for "Larry" or "Jones" or both of them put together yields no results.

To put it simply, the Search feature in PayPal is not an option. It's broken and these billionaires can't seem to fix it. Your only hope at finding a transaction on PayPal is to browse page by page by page, at a max. of 20 transactions at a time. And God forbid you ever hit the back button because it gives you one of those stupid boxes that makes you resend the page and you have to search all over again!

I HATE PAYPAL! EVEN MORE THAN JUSTIN BEIBER.

On ebay im trying to file a dispute on paypal but it is telling me this instead?

This transaction cannot be disputed at this time. This is usually because the transaction has not yet been completed. If this is a completed transaction, please double check that the Transaction ID you selected refers to a payment that you sent.

i checked the ID and its the transaction i wanted to get disputed and i payed for it it even says i payed for it. what does this mean?

How does paypal work?

Hey its been awhile since I used my paypal account.Like 2 years. I been busy with school. And I wanted to go back shopping online for like books and movies etc. But hearing sites like ebay being hacked worries me. I don't wanna wake up one day and see my bank account cleared or being charged a fee for something I did not pay for.

You see I want to put 5 or 10 dollars of my paycheck into my paypal. You know money I can just blow on juck. But each time I use my paypal does it take my credit card or bank count information or does it just take the 10 bucks?

For example I buy a book for 5 bucks and I get hacked by that ebay hacker. Will it just take my 5 bucks or will my credit card or bank account get wiped out?

Also is the site LAFILE safe? I wanna start shopping from sites besides ebay and Amazon. Plus I been using there free account to download some comics. So I was thinking of joining for 1 month so I can get all the comics I wanted. I wanna use my paypal account to pay them. I only use paypal for online shopping.

How does this Paypal scam work?

There are plenty of scams using Paypal's name
1 - they send you an email saying money has been sent but due to new security measures it will not be credited until you send the tracking info. So you send the item, email the tracking info, then check Paypal and there is NO money in your account. You call Paypal who tells you they never emailed you, there was no transaction and they NEVER ask for tracking info before crediting your account
2 - they send you money from a hacked Paypal account, you ship the item, then the real account holder discovers the theft, reports it to Paypal and the money is refunded from your account
3 - they send you a fake Paypal email saying money has been sent but you have to click on a link to verify the transaction - which leads you to a fake but real looking Paypal log-in page that you log into -- and you just got your account hacked
4 - they send you money from a real Paypal account, ask you to ship to a certain address, then file a chargeback. If you did not check with Paypal that the address they gave you was the "verified" address and you sent anywhere but the verified address, they claim they never received the item and Paypal refunds them. It doesn't matter if you have proof it was delivered to the other address along with an email from the buyer telling you to ship to that address. If you ship anywhere but the verified Paypal mailing address, you have NO protection and Paypal will always side with the buyer

Unless you are selling through Ebay, make sure any listing says across the top and bottom in all caps

** LOCAL BUYERS ONLY, CASH ONLY, NO SHIPPING **
and ignore everyone who wants anything else
