How To Edit Email Address In Contact List

How can I edit an "undefined" contact list in yahoo mail?

I am not sure why this issue occurs, but, this is what I DO when I face it -- I transfer the contacts into another list and delete the "Undefined"/"null" list. It seems silly, but works for me:)

You are correct! Editing a LIST option not available, but editing a Contact does. Hence, I suggest you to try this procedure:: Open this "Undefined" list --> Select few contacts from that list --> You will see "ASSIGN CONTACTS", click on it --> Scroll down & at "New Lists", check the box --> Enter a name --> Click on DONE --> The selected contacts will be moved to the NEW List.
* Now, continue same with the other contacts from "Undefined" List. Once, this list is empty, delete it from the "ACTIONS" tab.
* I have also noticed that the "UNDEFINED" list appears only when we select a contact; It's original name is displayed in left pane list.
* I am guessing it should be a glitch as it was fine until few days ago!!

Do you want to EDIT a Contact List to RENAME that "Undefined" list? You have not specified which EMAIL Version you are on!! I am assuming you are on "All New Mail" ("FULL FEATURED MAIL) -- If you see all the emails in a single page, it's the New Mail.

* Open your CONTACTS folder from the left pane (11th option from Compose);
* You will see your Contact LISTS to left side below to Google, Facebook, etc.;
* DOUBLE CLICK on the List name you need to change;
* The List name will be highlighted; You can erase w/BACKSPACE on the name;
* Now, enter the name you would like to the list; click on ENTER (there is no SAVE button).

** As of now, my LISTS are not working in BASIC Yahoo Mail. Hope you are NOT on BASIC mail.

** If you need any clarifications, please include ADDITIONAL DETAILS.

WOW !! Maybe the gripping paid off - now ADD a contact works !! AMAZING

AND did you notice that they went back to the COMPOSE button.

I guess Yahoo does listen

NOW please return the Catregories the way they were.

How to create contact list?

When you get an email at the top of it
"the header" click on "add to contacts"
Do this with every new email you get
You can also do it manually
From your mail page in the left hand column
click on Contacts,then click add contacts
then manually type in the addresses and info.
